Boombl4 has Underwhelming Start, while ENCE Sweeps HEET

Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov didn’t have the return to competitive play that the CS GO community was expecting. The ex Natus Vincere in-game leader did not show up to the series playing for BEBRA at a small Russian LAN event, PARI Patriki Vibe.

A Disenchanting Start for Boombl4

Boombl4 finished the first map Nuke in the best of three series between BEBRA and Websterz, with only 12 kills and 24 deaths, as Websterz took Nuke 16-14. The former Natus Vincere IGL was the actual bottom fragger between the two teams and had the lowest rating at 0.59. He can still show his true powers as IGL and fragger in the next maps of the best of three, hopefully this time around it was only a rusty game for the Russian native.

Boombl4 was exempted from NAVI after their second place finish at the PGL Antwerp Major around May with the organization stating that his departure was thanks to Boombl4 being “high reputational risks” to Natus Vincere as a team. Sadly afterwards, his ex wife posted a video of Boombl4 allegedly using narcotics, however Boombl4 took a drug test to prove he was clean in the next following days.

The future of the ex Natus Vincere captain has been quite unknown since his departure. Owen “smooya” Butterfield’s team, which achieved the IEM Rio Major Europe Regional Major Ranking (RMR), “Benched Heroes”, invited Boombl4 to play for the team but he declined because he was recording a rap track at the time.

Boombl4’s return to Natus Vincere also seems to be out of the question since the team has been playing with ex Team Spirit rifle main Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev. Denis “electroNic” Sharipov took the IGL role and seems to be doing well outside of his comfort zone.

Going into our second team, ENCE’s CSGO true potential was in doubt after their superstar player Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi left the squad to sign for Vitality, however Valdemar ‘valde’ Bjørn Vangså may have cleared any doubts with his incredible debut against HEET. The international CS GO lineup defeated HEET with a quick 2-0 scoreline.

ENCE easily defeated HEET on their map pick Dust II 16-6, with the youngsters demolishing the French roster. The Spanish AWP main SunPayus easily took care of the French roster’s attacks in his debut for ENCE. This combined with Valde’s own incredible debut spelled trouble for HEET, who ultimately didn’t stand a chance.

In the second map, Vertigo , was a closer game for the French squad. HEET almost managed to start a comeback against ENCE but struggled to close the map as it finished 16-11 in favor of ENCE. This was an incredible debut for Valde, now under the tutelage of Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer, there’s a big chance for Valde to make it into the next level, but the chance of the squad winning trophies is still rather uncertain.

Their next CSGO series will be against Heroic, who have been struggling to come back to old winning ways. If you are interested in CSGO betting, don’t forget to bet on esports at BetUS Sportsbook & Casino. We’ve plenty of CSGO odds for you to consider.
