Big name that overshadows main roster
Excited to announce a new chapter in my journey as I join @FUTesportsgg alongside my brother.
I’ll be stepping in as both a content creator and the 6th player for the team, for now.
My goal is to fully comeback to competitive CS once I familiarize with the game and feel ready! pic.twitter.com/gUjJNFT8Do

When FUT revealed their new CS2 team on May 26, the spotlight was somewhat overshadowed by the return of the legendary ScreaM to Counter Strike. Although he’s currently just a backup for JACKZ, misutaaa, drac, and his younger brother Nivera, ScreaM has stated that he intends to make a full comeback to competitive play. Despite ScreaM being recognized as one of the greatest mechanical players in the history of CS GO due to his significant influence in the early days, analysts are skeptical about his chances of competing at a high level in Counter Strike 2.
For example, ScreaM was just a supporting player by the time he wrapped up his CS GO career. His signature style, known for those incredible headshots, worked well for flashy plays in casual matches, but it was hard to replicate against top-tier pros or even many tier two players. Teams began to view ScreaM less as a standout player who could dominate games and more as someone who played a supportive role, which ultimately hurt his stats even more.
In the last couple of fixtures of his time as a CS GO member, ScreaM had an average rating of 1.15. While this might look impactful at first glance, his performance dropped below 1 when he faced off against more seasoned teams.
Not enough consistency in VALORANT

ScreaM had a really good start right after he switched to a competitor of Counter Strike, when everyone was still figuring out how the game worked, and there were a lot of new players around. But, after he became the captain and shifted his focus to Karmine Corp, he didn’t perform as well in the following years and ended up not playing at the top level by the end of that year.
We’ve seen amazing players like device and s1mple return after long breaks and still perform well. This gives us hope that the Belgian 007 still has a chance in the esports scene. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see if an organization gives him the opportunity as a starter in the near future.
