Giving false hope to the West

FlyQuest really took charge in their first game at MSI. The LTA team effectively neutralized the enemy Rumble while ensuring their bottom lane thrived. AL’s problems began with some questionable aggressive moves early on, which put them on the defensive right away.

Even though AL secured a few objectives in the mid game, FLY was quick to respond and trade for them. With most chances for a comeback gone, the Western team wrapped things up decisively after a powerful teamfight led by Massu.

In the second game, it was AL’s chance to take control. From the start, FLyQuest was on the defensive, as Bwipo got solo killed two times. This put the North American team in a tough spot, making it hard for them to secure objectives, while AL quickly accumulated dragons and towers.

Because of their early advantage, Flandre’s Yorick dominated the game, ending with an impressive score of 7/0. With the Baron buff backing them up, AL confidently won game 2 around the 27 minute mark.

Competitive but still LPL favored

Game 3 started off at a slower pace since both teams were cautious about making mistakes during the first 10 minutes. Even though FLY was more aggressive overall, their skirmish strategy began to lose steam as the game progressed.

The team had to face AL’s powerful scaling, which led the NA organization into dangerous teamfights that they ended up losing. After a tense 30 minutes of back and forth action, AL confidently advanced into the enemy base to secure match point.

Sadly for FLY fans, their drafts continued to focus on early game advantages in Game 4, which forced them into a timer. AL managed to select a great disengage composition, which they piloted patiently during the first stages of the match.

Even with FlyQuest finding small advantages, Anyone’s Legend felt unkillable during mid game team fights, as their composition was simply too evasive. Following Anyone’s Legend’s victory today, the LPL squad will continue its upper bracket run with a series against their LCK rivals Gen.G.
