Jensen reportedly set to enter free agency after stint with Dignitas
Dignitas has allegedly cut ties with Danish League of Legends mid laner Jensen, following his brief tenure (less than a year) with the North American organization. It will be a tough gaming prediction to see where he lands up next.
Dignitas, a historic LCS team, has struggled to establish a winning reputation in the LCS or even qualify for the League World Championship after its rebranding. However, the addition of Jensen, a seasoned player with eight World Championship qualifications, to the team in late 2022 sparked optimism among many fans of the organization.

Dignitas had a disappointing 2023 competitive season, finishing tenth in LCS 2023 Spring, seventh in LCS 2023 Summer, and only managing a fifth/sixth place in the LCS 2023 Championship. The organization appears to be implementing roster changes for the upcoming 2024 League season, starting with the mid lane. According to LEC Wooloo, Jensen has been granted permission to depart and look for a new home as a free agent.
not the best regular season ending but i’m gonna smurf playoffs as per usual

Although this information has not been officially confirmed by the organization, Jensen has recently erased all team related details from his social media biography. If he has indeed been granted permission to depart, this would result in a relatively premature termination of the contract, as he had previously committed to play under Dignitas until the end of 2024.
Jensen’s departure from DIG in 2023 was not their sole case, as Lucas ‘Santorin’ Larsen had already retired earlier in the same month. Santorin’s decision to retire was driven by his desire to prioritize his relationships with friends and family, as well as his pursuit of content creation as his main profession.
Everyone is now wondering where the seasoned veteran will go, with some believing he will sign with a different LCS squad while others think it is a good time to think about retirement from competitive play. Similar to Santorin, Jensen could also pursue a career in content creation with the mid laner being an avid SoloQ player, something a plethora of viewers like to watch.
The Dane’s curriculum is incredibly impressive, especially during his time under the Cloud 9 banner. During his playing stint with the whites and blues, Jensen qualified for every single World Championship available. His trademark control mage playstyle was a pillar of consistency for Cloud 9, which rarely had to worry about providing him with resources in order to be useful.
Even though his overall output has diminished throughout the years, his experience and mechanics have not, with several teams keeping an eye on his status.
