Back in action

It looks like a bunch of retired players are coming back to help out the younger generation. Just like N0tail, who recently became the head coach for OG, JerAx is also stepping up as the coach for PARIVISION at BLAST Slam 3. It’s important to mention that JerAx is just filling in temporarily for Astini, who is missing the entire event.

Astini said he’s taking a break from coaching PARIVISION to be there for his wife, who is expecting a baby in the next couple of months. Since the baby is due extremely soon, it makes sense for him to take a step back from the competitive scene. This means JerAx will be attempting his second coaching role once again in short notice, which could definitely be a hit or miss for both the organization and the member.

Decent track record

Even though JerAx is known for being a two time TI champion, he has also made a name for himself as a staff member before. He played a key role in helping Team Liquid secure a third place finish at the International 2022. It’s worth mentioning that JerAx only spent a couple of months with Team Liquid, which was struggling at the time to keep it light.

They didn’t perform well in the DPC and missed out on a direct invite to the next International. They tried to qualify through the WER Qualifier for TI11 but didn’t succeed there either. In the end, Team Liquid managed to qualify for TI11 through the LCQ and somehow made it to the semifinals. Once the elimination stage started, they were unable to push a win against Team Spirit. Even without this impressive achievement, JerAx has always been dependable. He is one of the most skilled Dota 2 players ever. His unique playstyle as a position 4 support using heroes like Tiny, Tusk, or Earth Spirit shows just how creative he can be in the game. We will have to wait and see if the squad will synergize in time for the next event.

JerAx’s unique take on the current Dota 2 meta is definitely going to spark some interesting conversations among PARIVISION players and their new coach.
