Kanavi, who joined JDG in 2019, has without a doubt become the team’s franchise player ever since leaving Griffin. Despite his decline as a powerhouse player, he is still regarded as one of the LPL’s best junglers and players, serving as the foundation upon which JDG has been assembling their squads. Ruler was also without a doubt one of the most reliable players on the JDG squad in 2023, in addition to being one of the team’s brightest players. No matter how the rest of his team performs, he consistently delivers with a high degree of mechanical perfection. It is quite encouraging for JDG’s 2024 LPL season since they were able to keep Ruler for an additional year.

Fans weren’t surprised by this, as the CEO of the group had apparently declared on November 25 that the team would stay with support Missing and keep those players. However, the Missing’s decision to remain with the team has not yet been formally verified. Additionally, the replacements for the remaining players are still unknown. Before the new season begins, Bilibili Gaming, the LPL team that made it to the 2023 Worlds, has not yet revealed its roster. Rumors, nevertheless, have proposed trading mid laners to JDG. That could suggest that Yagao would make a deal with JDG and Knight would join them. Yet, the official rosters for both dominant teams are still unknown.

JDG is currently in the middle of rebuilding its roster. The dynamic Chinese roster is beginning to appear a little more promising with the announced re-signing of both Ruler and Kanavi.

It will be intriguing to watch which players will attempt to make another attempt at the golden road by joining this star-studded group. Naturally, though, plenty of different LPL and international teams will get in their way.
