Ready to take it all

Karmine Corp (odds to win 1.3) is coming into this as the favorites, and it’s easy to see why since they are the current champions. Even though they are really popular in Europe, Karmine Corp is still new to the LEC. Previously, this French team was active in the local scene, going up against other teams from their country and taking part in various Tier 2 competitions within the Riot ecosystem.

In the LEC Winter 2025, Karmine Corp had a solid group stage. Canna and his team ended up sharing second place with G2 and KOI, finishing with a record of 6-3. Then, in the grand final, something incredible happened: Karmine Corp completely dominated G2, defeating Europe’s top team 3-0 and leaving fans amazed. This not only established them as favorites for this time, but also made them the most thrilling European roster we’ve seen in the past couple of years.

However, even the best can face challenges. Karmine Corp topped the group stage of LEC Spring 2025 with an impressive 8-1 record. Nobody expected their rough start to the postseason, as they actually lost to KOI previously with a close 2-3. After dropping to the lower bracket, they bounced back by defeating Heretics and then took down Fnatic.

Looking for another upset

KOI (odds to win 3.13) is definitely the more tenured side organization wise, even with inconsistent results throughout the years. Last season, they played under the name MAD Lions but quickly changed their name to Movistar KOI.

After returning to the big League of Legends stage, KOI did really well in the LEC Winter 2025 group stage. They ended with a 6-3 record, tying with G2 and Karmine Corp. They managed to beat GiantX again but lost to Fnatic in the next match, finishing LEC Winter in a disappointing 4th place.

Looking at the current split, the organization has secured a playoff spot. In their first playoff match, KOI surprisingly took down Karmine Corp 3-2 (as mentioned earlier), moving on to the upper bracket final. There, they went up against G2 Esports and lost (which was expected).
