Dplus KIA topped the Group Stage with a flawless 5-0 record. Their great coordination and strategy propelled them to the top of the standings for a direct playoff berth. Besides qualifying for the playoffs, T1 also made headlines by defeating Gen.G, a club that troubled them so much last season. Smashing the full roster of Making Academy ADC turned out pretty well. His array of champions showed a lot of variety for the team, which significantly helped T1 in the Fearless Draft style.
Gen.G. became one of the most promising teams in this league because they only lost against T1 and finished strong enough to get into the playoffs. Additionally, Hanwha Life Esports gave a strong performance throughout the group stage.
