A New Era of Competition

Action packed matches and fierce rivalries are expected for the 2025 LCK Spring Season, which has already begun. The league features an updated format to keep fans on the edge of their seats, and ten clubs are competing. Because teams are only allowed to choose champions once throughout a series, the implementation of the “Hard Fearless Draft” adds another level of complication. This rule offers a new twist on the traditional competition by guaranteeing flexibility and imaginative drafting.

The group stage divides the teams into two groups of five, Group Baron and Group Elder. In a best of three format, each team faces all of its opponents from the opposing group. While the remaining teams battle through the Play-In stage for a chance at redemption, the top teams from the Winners Group advance straight to the playoffs. The final reward? A highly desired position in the 2025 First Stand.
