In the recent metas set in 2022, junglers play a key role on how the team approaches the map. Not only do they need to have incredible mechanical prowess, but they also need to understand all lanes and how to play around them through in-game knowledge.
Junglers have multiple ways to impact the game such as ganks, neutral objectives, or regular team fighting. The top junglers need to punish every opportunity possible with whichever tools they have at the moment. And with the 2022 World Championship set to start really soon, it is key to highlight the best junglers in the world and what makes them so special compared to their counterparts.
We are here at the end of the line of our jungle spotlight, let’s enjoy it and check the League of legends bets!
Is fair to say Evil Geniuses did not enjoy this last split as much as the opening this year, after winning the first North American title in organizational history Evil Geniuses fell down the table in the LCS 2022 Summer Split.
However outside of the missteps that happened recently, Inspired continued to show moments of brilliance with his team fight heavy style of play. Especially in the playoffs, where pressure was at an all time high to achieve the perfect regional year, Inspired looked calm.
The current jungle meta for the 2022 Worlds Championship fits Inspired extremely well, with early proactive champions like Lee Sin and Graves coming back plus team fight heavy engagers such as Maokai and Hecarim being prevalent as well.
We expect Inspired to be back in form going into the play-ins stage, as Evil Geniuses is definitely expected to arrive into the main stage.
Since he signed with JDG from the Griffin in the LCK, Kanavi has been considered an incredible import especially for his role. He immediately created an impact on his first season in the LPL back in 2020, winning the LPL Spring Split and placing second in summer. This time around, however, Kanavi absolutely became a better team player as he continues to have his staple early game pressure but with better overall team results.
What makes Kanavi so unique compared to all the other junglers we have previously talked about, is his ability to hard carry most games. He always looks to take the resources and use them to be aggressive and constantly apply pressure, thus giving the rest of the team space to scale beside him. In a year where junglers normally step down into a more utility focused role, Kanavi is not afraid of the heat and plays to get early advantages for himself and his team. The truest statement we can make for this idea, is that currently he places first in damage dealt amongst all tournament junglers in 2022.
With how he has improved this year, Kanavi will look to finally battle for the title that has evaded him for a long time, the Summoner’s Cup.
