The League of Legends transfer market period is now in full motion throughout the entire competitive scene, with all regions now a week into this change timeframe. Let’s take a look at the possible rosters that will be competing at the top of the table for the LEC’s 2023 Spring Split.
No other big name team in Europe has had more of a roller coaster split in 2022 than Fnatic. The squad finished 2nd in the Spring Split regular season, then defeated in the finals. Fnatic did not find their mojo during the Summer Split, however somehow managed to make a push to finish 3rd, enough to punch a ticket for Worlds 2022 Play Ins. Fnatic then started their Worlds group stage 2-0, only to lose all their following games and miss on playoffs.
An absolutely unpredictable split is sure to be followed by a similar offseason period. The only thing Fnatic has stated this offseason is the departure of Hylissang, with sources reporting the possibility of Rhuckz being promoted to the first team.
Rhuckz won’t be the only new signing for Fnatic’s bot lane, with former Fnatic bot laner Rekkles apparently looking back to join his old team.
- Top: Martin Nordahl “Wunder” Hansen (Rumored)
- Jungle: Iván Martín “Razork” Díaz (Rumored)
- Mid: Marek “Humanoid” Brázda (Rumored)
- Bot Lane: Martin “Rekkles” Larsson (Rumored)
- Support: Rúben “Rhuckz” Barbosa (Rumored)
Moving from one LEC staple team to another one, G2 Esports had a similarly underwhelming end to 2022. G2 managed to achieve better success domestically this season, taking the LEC Spring Split and finishing 2nd in the Summer Split.
Nevertheless, G2 finished officially as the worst LEC team at Worlds 2022 with a 1-5 scoreline in the group stage.
The first rumor to come out was that both Flakked and Jankos are apparently out of a spot with G2 for 2022. However the possible bot lane switch might be quite a good one, with the main prospect being Hansama.
After playing the 2022 season in the LCS with Team Liquid, Hansama is apparently looking to head back to the LEC paired with former G2 Esports player Mikyx. Bot lane isn’t the only possible change , as a new youngster in the jungle is being promoted as well, with G2 reportedly signing ex LDLC jungle main Yike to take Jankoss spot.
This will be Yike’s first time in the LEC, with his previous playing experience being in the LFL.
- Top: Sergen “Broken Blade” Celik (Under Contract)
- Jungle: Martin “Yike” Sundelin (Rumored)
- Mid: Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winther (Under Contract)
- Bot Lane: Steven “Hans Sama” Liv (Rumored)
- Support: Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle (Rumored)
