Gla1ve and kuben will carry on Snappi and sAw’s ENCE legacy, which saw the squad successfully transition from a Finnish lineup to an international roster in 2021. This presents a significant opportunity for gla1ve, who has spent the last 5 months on Astralis’ bench and has not won a major LAN tournament since December 2019. Gla1ve opens up about how happy he is to be a part of ENCE and he underlined how wonderful the opportunity is and how much the team has welcomed him. The 28-year-old Dane is keen to establish his worth and help ENCE succeed but this will be his first time calling shots in English at the greatest level of competition.

On ENCE’s website, General Manager Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen commented on the new signings saying this about gla1ve: “Lukas, on the other hand, must be the biggest addition to our roster we have ever made here at ENCE. I think it’s a clear sign that we have been doing the right things when a player of Lukas’s caliber wants to join us. He has won it all and has the experience to share what it takes to cross the line to do it. Lukas is super motivated to show he still has it and likes the responsibility IGL gets here at ENCE. I trust that hungry Lukas is a dangerous foe to any opponent we face.”

Willkey continued by saying that the two were chosen because they get along well and considering they each bring scouting, in-game quality, veteran leadership, and experience to the table. Regarding kubens’ signing he said: “Big changes need big names to fill them”. Adding Kuben to the team was a calculated decision, particularly in light of the productive collaboration Gla1ve and Kuben share.

Guy “NertZ” Iluz, Pavle “Maden” Bošković, Paweł “dycha” Dycha, Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, and Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski serve as the current ENCE roster. This lineup, which combines a variety of international talent, is anticipated to have a big impact on the cutthroat CS2 scene.

Gla1ve and Kuben’s addition to ENCE is about more than just manpower replacement, it’s about bringing a winning mentality and demonstrated leadership to the group. The esports community is excited to see how this fresh dynamic duo will change ENCE’s future in Counter-Strike 2 as their first tournament approaches.

Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 will be the inaugural competition featuring the updated ENCE roster. Finland will host the competition from November 29 to December 3. There will be 8 teams competing for a $200,000 prize fund.
