Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen, after a terrible zero-kill, 0.10-rated map versus Sprout, had another subpar series here, but G2 should be more concerned about Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov’s performances. The Russian awper performed admirably in the team’s opening CCT Online Finals game, but his performance in the previous 2 series has been significantly worse, with 4 of his 5 played maps receiving ratings worse than 1.00.

Ancient was the 1st map played in the series, and Aurora dominated right away. They had a 9-6 lead at the break and went on to win 7 straight rounds to finish the map 16-6. G2 found it difficult to generate any momentum on Ancient, but Aurora’s excellent collaboration and preparation were evident. Aurora maintained their lead on the 2nd map, Nuke. They took an 11-4 lead at the break and went on to win 5 straight rounds to finish the map 16-4. G2 appeared to be utterly outclassed on Nuke, and Aurora’s unique talent was evident.

Evgeny “Norbwi” Ermolin and Denis “deko” Zhukov dominated the spotlight on Aurora’s side of the server. Norwi performed well on Ancient, receiving a 1.81 rating, while deko completely controlled Nuke, receiving a 2.07 rating.
Following this game, G2 was relegated to the lower bracket and must now contend with Guild Eagles to stay alive. The players will move on to the bottom grid finals if they overcome this match and they will have to prove everyone wrong to get the outcome they expect.
Aurora advances to the next round of play, where they will meet the victor of the match involving BIG and the highly effective 9 Pandas team.

All things considered, Aurora prevailed due to their excellent collaboration, planning, and individual talent. They deservedly went to the CCT Online Finals 5 final after outlasting G2 in every facet of the game.
