NIP acquires r1nkle

One of the most successful teams in Counter-Strike history, Ninjas in Pajamas (NiP), has added Ukrainian star Artem r1nkle Moroz to its lineup. The 19-year-old, who made an impression with his aggressive play and superb clutch abilities, leaves the B8 squad to join NiP. After NiP split ways with Daniil headtr1ck Valitov in February in order to reorganize the squad, r1nkle has now joined the team. The squad has not been able to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and has recently struggled to recover dominance. There is one available spot on the roster as a result of Richard “Xizt” Landström taking over as head coach and Max “maxster” Jansson being promoted from the academy lineup late last month. R1nkle, a 19-year-old, has been recognized for a while in the competitive CS:GO scene. On HLTV’s top 20 players of 2022, the player was Robin “ropz” Kool’s Bold Prediction from early 2023. With great admiration, the FaZe player said of r1nkle, saying that he possesses an incredible future when he gets an opportunity. In 2023, at the RMR of the BLAST.tv Paris Major, r1nkle reached the pinnacle of his team, which is currently no longer together. The Ukrainian squad was last in the race for a slot, falling to Cloud9 in the RMR Decider’s pivotal match. Although the player’s numbers have improved over the past two years, r1nkle is still in excellent condition.

Since making an impression at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR a year ago, where he led B8’s near-miss campaign with a 1.20 rating versus teams like MOUZ, Virtus.pro, and fnatic, r1nkle has been a highly sought-after player as a young, up-and-coming AWPer. After switching to Counter-Strike 2, he has maintained his strong performance, earning a 1.15 rating in the new game. However, because he has repeatedly failed to qualify for larger competitions, he hasn’t had the opportunity to prove his mettle on LAN.

NIP is still working on reorganizing its CS2 roster for 2024. The organization benched the previously mentioned headtr1ck together with Patrick “es3tag” Hansen and Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke following the failure at RMR. Only Alejandro “alex” Masanet and Fredrik “REZ” Sterner remained from the previous lineup. With the addition of r1nkle, Max “maxster” Jansson, who was promoted from the academy squad, results in just one player needed.

In order to compete at the greatest level, NiP is hoping that r1nkle will provide them with the necessary firepower. The youthful Ukrainian is renowned for his proficiency with weapons and his capacity to maneuver under duress. The forthcoming Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series 1, which began on April 1, will mark the debut of the new NiP squad. The way r1nkle fits into the squad and if he can assist NiP achieve their past success are much anticipated by the fans.

In the April 2nd ESL Challenger Jönköping Europe closed qualifier vs Monte, r1nkle is scheduled to make his Ninjas in Pyjamas debut. Teams vying for a single berth in Jönköping include Apeks, GamerLegion, and r1nkle’s previous home B8.Keep an eye on all of our content as we’ll be covering all the action Counter Strike has to offer.
