OG and Nigma Galaxy have surprisingly been knocked out from PGL Wallachia Season 3
- Even though there were high hopes for OG and Nigma Galaxy to perform well, both organizations ended up disappointing fans at PGL Wallachia Season 3 with early exits.
- OG, in particular, had just announced the return of Sébastien “Ceb” Debs as their leader and introduced a new roster, but they still struggled significantly.
- Several “classic” organizations have struggled in 2025, even after reinforcing their roster during the offseason.
The group stage format at PGL Wallachia S3 was tough, especially for rosters that weren’t in peak form. With eight lineups getting eliminated by the end of the group stage, both OG and Nigma Galaxy failed to advance due to their lackluster performances. OG started on the wrong foot
OG played three matches against Team Spirit, Wildcard, and Yellow Submarine. Their game against Team Spirit was particularly rough, as they were swept clean, which is understandable given Team Spirit’s top seed status and their impressive track record after a roster change. Unfortunately, OG couldn’t secure any wins against Wildcard or Yellow Submarine either. They came close, but in a best-of-three format, that just wasn’t enough.

On the other hand, Nigma faced tough opponents like Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming but managed to snag a positive outcome against Natus Vincere, which gives them a slight edge over OG. Nevertheless, their performance was subpar to say the least, especially with their 2024 being a massive year for the organization.
Stars have yet to find their synergy together
It’s disappointing to see these once dominant organizations struggle so much. OG, in particular, has no real excuse for their poor performance, especially with a roster full of talented players. They have the young Thai star Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon looking to become a great carry in the future, former champion Leon “Nine” Kirilin, and Yap “xNova” Jian Wei, along with Ceb. It’s evident that this roster is having trouble working together as a unit, and their drafts have been questionable at best. Drafting is not only using the best possible heroes, but also ones your players feel comfortable with, especially when your roster has not found their mojo.

Nigma definitely showed more resilience than OG, so they shouldn’t face as much backlash. For example, they really challenged Xtreme Gaming, with their matches being filled with intense back and forth action. Any of OG’s faithful can see things are looking pretty bleak if they continue with this approach moving forward. It feels like the European organization is having a hard time finding their middle ground and is opting for unconventional picks during the draft phase instead of following the current meta at this point in time.
