Team Liquid end things convincingly

Team Liquid successfully secured the first remaining playoff spots in a surprisingly competitive match against 3DMAX. Several analysts underestimated the significant improvements 3DMAX has made since the addition of bodyy. The French organization delivered a commendable performance against a stacked TL roster, ultimately losing 2-1 after running out of steam during clutch time.

Everything seemed to align perfectly for TL in terms of their usual playbook. With ultimate performing at a high level, it becomes quite challenging for Liquid to be defeated. Additionally, having an IGL like Twistzz, who can also contribute significantly in terms of kills, makes them a formidable opponent moving forward.

Eternal fire upsets Falcons

It looked like the Falcons were on the rise after making it to the Final of PGL Cluj Napoca a couple of weeks back, but now they’re facing disappointment again since they didn’t make it to the latter stages of ESL Pro League S21. Eternal Fire had an exciting positive outcome in a close series, giving the Turkish organization something to celebrate as they head into the next challenge. Although Eternal Fire seemed to be in a bit of a slump recently, qualifying from the ESL Pro League Group Stage is still a solid achievement.

Eternal Fire’s superstars Wicadia and woxic were the main force behind this result. This combination of young talent and seasoned skill completely dominated the Falcons throughout all 3 maps, especially while MAJ3R struggled to make an impact from his IGL role.

G2 continues to improve

The latest version of the GamerLegion lineup has been making some impressive progress recently, but they faced a tough challenge against a resurgent G2, who proved to be too strong at this point in time. There’s no embarrassment in that, but the series was pretty one sided to say the least, ending in a 2-0 result that clearly favored one organization.

M0NESY was on fire in the server, playing with incredible focus and finishing with a kill to death ratio of 48-25, which really helped the Europeans secure their win. To put it in perspective, the series lasted around 1 hour and 15 minutes, with it concluding extremely fast. On the other hand, GamerLegion’s sl3nd struggled, ending with a 13-32 kill to death ratio across both maps, which definitely isn’t a winning performance at this level.
