RAMZES cuts ties with Darksiders amidst Team Secret rumors
RAMZES has officially cut ties with Darksiders after the Eastern European team, unfortunately, failed to qualify for the Lima Major, thus he has become a free agent going into the Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour. Rumors are already spreading just a couple of hours after it was published, with Team Secret apparently being the top destination.
Within his Telegram group, RAMZES explained in detail the entire situation, stating he really felt the squad was strong but the entire situation around the organization itself started going sour through the DPC season.
As for results, the lineup was captained by RAMZES and SoNNeikO, they started the DPC season with 2 convincing victories but ultimately were not able to close things out on the next couple of series. By the end of the season, Darksiders finished 2-5 but overall had a 7-11 match record which did include wins against tough opposition such as BetBoom and Team Spirit.
RAMZES conversation via his public Telegram page:
“We started good, but we finished like shit. All because we weren’t solving the issues appearing within the team.” “On the contrary, everything was getting worse every day. Even those two victories could not have happened. We could have been relegated from Division I altogether but we also could have won against any of the strongest teams in the region. It was very random. Everything depended on the mood and other things.”
While Darksiders managed to avoid relegation into Division II going into the Spring Tour, the lack of improvement and problems surrounding the squad made RAMZES take the tough decision to leave the team and take a break for the winter season.
However, recent rumors have surfaced that Puppey was recruiting RAMZES to join Team Secret. Secret had an awful DPC season, starting at 2nd place to finish at Division II thanks to their 1-6 record in the most competitive Dota 2 region. Of course after such a tough situation, Puppey and Team Secret are looking to change things up for the best, and this includes roster shuffles amongst other rumors.

RAMZES was previously rumored to be Crystallis replacement as the squad’s main carry, however Dota 2 commentator syndereN mentioned another possible player coming in. Via his podcast “We Say Things”, syndereN talked about the rumor of Nemiga Gaming’s core player Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak joining Team Secret.
According to those rumors, RAMZES will join Secret as the main carry while Malr1ne might take BOOM’s spot in the mid lane. This would change the team quite a lot, however the veteran trio of Puppey, Resolut1on, and Zayac should be more than accustomed to situations like this. We expect in the next couple of weeks to see some sort of confirmation on the transfer.
