Stewie2k on trial with Legacy

According to a report from Dust2.com.br, Marcelo “coldzera” David was benched by mutual consent, and Jake “Stewie2K” Yip is scheduled to go on trial for Legacy in his place. The American will play for Legacy throughout the month of April as the team keeps an eye on the roles and transitions to using English for communication. If the team performs well, this change could become permanent. Continue reading this article for the best information on esports predictions!

Instead of joining forces (and getting back together) with Marcelo “coldzera” David, another Major champion, Stewie2K will be vying for coldzera’s position. The two-time Major champion from Brazil, who was formerly regarded as the world’s greatest player in 2016 and 2017, amicably parted company with Legacy after their departure from Copenhagen. Stewie hasn’t participated in a regular Counter-Strike competition in a while. Stewie joined Evil Geniuses at the beginning of 2022 following a 3-year campaign with Team Liquid that ran from the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2021, peaking early during the unstoppable Liquid summer of 2019. Stewie and the squad battled mightily with the EG roster, though, and after a few months, he decided to give up competitive gaming entirely to concentrate on streaming. The Counter-Strike career of Stewie2k is highly esteemed. At Team Liquid, he achieved his pinnacle by winning multiple international tournaments. These accomplishments brought about the coveted Intel Grand Slam Season 2. Stewie2k has left his mark on the CS:GO community and the North American CS scene with Team Liquid. Stewie2k won the lone Major won by a North American team with Cloud9. Among the greatest CS:GO tournaments ever was the 2018 Eleague Major Boston. Following this success, Stewie2k joined SK, which subsequently changed its name to MIBR. Tarik “tarik” Celik joined the team a few months later.

Stewie2k reunites with Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia at Legacy. While the athlete was a member of the squad, the manager of SK/MIBR was the creator of the Brazilian organization. Even after the player departed for Team Liquid, Stewie and Ricardo continued to reside together in the United States. After a gap of two years, Stewie2k might be making a comeback to the Counter-Strike scene with a surprising squad in a new game. Stewie focused largely on VALORANT during this period away from CS, even participating in open qualifications and pro VALORANT offseason events. Along with other previous NA CS players Brax and Wardell, Stewie came extremely close to being eligible for the official tier-2 VALORANT league known as NA Challengers in 2023. However, Stewie made his CS2 debut in the ESL Challenger League this past December, playing in 5 matches with the well-liked NA squad Mythic. If Stewie does play for Legacy, it won’t be his first experience on a Brazilian roster; the former NA player is well-known for having joined the storied SK Gaming roster following the 2018 Boston Major

Furthermore, Legacy is probably waiting for market conditions to improve before the 2024 summer player break, given the Brazilian scene’s reputation for huge buyouts and shrewd player negotiations.
