Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, who has already established himself as one of the greatest players in the world, is presently preparing for his next challenge: the first CS2 Major. gla1ve and his team could be destroyed by the Eastern European team in Team Spirit’s first-round match versus ENCE. Team Spirit and donk traveled to Bucharest to take part in the European RMR, which is effectively a qualifier for the inaugural Counter-Strike 2 Major, following their trophy-lifting victory at IEM Katowice 2024 a week ago. Having been placed in Group B, Team Spirit was the clear favorite to win. Playing against the newly established Polish squad ENCE was the challenge assigned to Team Spirit. Even with a very fresh squad, ENCE managed to qualify for the Katowice playoffs but could only finish in fifth or sixth place. It was anticipated that Team Spirit would easily defeat ENCE in a best-of-one match. Captain Gla1ve even made light of the differences between his team and the opposition prior to the RMR.

Donk’s next challenge, playing in his first Counter-Strike 2 Major, was about to begin. Spirit got off to a strong start in the opening round of his RMR debut, as the 17-year-old quickly scored 4 kills in the pistol round. Team Spirit topped the scoreboard after practicing their aim and getting warmed up before the game. They were able to string together shots with the donk and, strangely, the in-game leader chopper. Donk had a 17-3 score in the tenth round, and his captain had a 15-1 score. The score was 11-0 and Team Spirit’s magixx had 0 kills while his team was winning every round. Magixx was able to join in on the fun and score 2 kills in the final round of the half. Even though ENCE was a strong team, Team Spirit completely dominated the game, dominating them for the whole of the map and finishing the half 12-0 and the 2nd pistol round 13-0. Donk finished the task with an abnormal 2.41 rating, 140 ADR, and a K/D of 18-4. The dismal 3-8 KD of fellow rifler Boris “magixx” Vorobyev, maybe the worst scoreline of any player in a flawless game, was quickly noticed by pessimistic fans. He did, however, earn a strong 72.2 DPR, surpassing both Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia and sh1ro. A 13-0 really has no weak points.

Now, Spirit and Astralis will square off in the 2nd round. Donk and the boys will only need to win one bo3 to qualify for the Copenhagen Major RMR if they prevail. Although it will be the squad’s first Valve event, the team will probably go into it as the favorite to win the trophy. Fans are eager to see how the team continues to perform in the coming weeks.
