Another League of Legends competitive split is already in the books, an incredible World Championship has its winner, and now another free agent period has started in the professional League of Legends scene.
Organizations are looking to build the best squads possible, and in the LCS, teams are always looking for the best imports to bring in, mainly from the EU and South Korea. No matter the price some teams will invest in this talent.
Some teams are trying to rebuild their rosters to finally become title contenders, while others are trying to push themselves outside of the mid and bottom half of the table.
The LCS will be signing quite a lot of imports in 2023, from young prospects to already established superstars. Today we are going to take a look at what we think are the best imports coming into the LCS 2023 season.
After taking the LCS MVP trophy in his first season in the LCS, NA fans are already familiar with Summit’s true potential. The last time he played in the NA LCS, he absolutely demolished any other top laner in the laning phase, along with having the 2nd highest average damage to champions in the LCS. He is one of the best mechanical talents in the league, but still needs some help from his teammates to finish strong in the entire campaign.
Ex LCK mid laner VicLa is known as a highly talented 19 year old who pushed himself into the starting lineup on KT Rolster in 2022. He started his career quite recently in 2020, the young prospect will be a player that LCS fans will enjoy to watch, mainly after winning this season’s Rookie of the Split trophy. He is still a diamond in the rough and requires a lot of work, but with the right cast alongside him, a star might be in the making.
When Team Liquid announced they would sign a World Champion jungler, a lot of fans looked at their rebuilt squad and placed their bets outside of them being 1st place. Even though Pyosik was not the highlight for DRX’s incredible campaign at Worlds this year, he was a key piece that pushed them into stardom.
Lastly we have Prince, one of the fastest developing Bot Lane talents in the LCK, who was a huge part for Liiv SANDBOX in 2022. He could easily be the best bot laner in the LCS right out of the get go, as long as his team is willing to give him enough resources to push himself into more of a hyper carry role.
