The MongolZ seem a bit shaky right now, to say the least. After not doing well in the last couple of fixtures, the community is already questioning if they really belong in the Legends group. However, things are looking up in Australia since they managed to beat FaZe in a crucial match to move on to the playoffs. Said result was highly unexpected, as FaZe’s new roster with EliGe has been improving recently.
Player rating stands at a below average 5.9, which shows they have some good players, but they can be inconsistent. Server wise, we expect to see a ban on Train since surprisingly they have not played a single time in 2025, since it was reintroduced into the pool. Inferno is likely their best pick because it’s the most dependable map for them, boasting a 73% win rate over 11 bouts. They might also consider Anubis (69% win rate) and Ancient (64% win rate) as options.

Team Liquid is currently going through a full on rebuilding phase. After a disappointing performance at PGL Bucharest, where they ended up in last place, the organization has gradually started to improve after their roster moves. They made a surprising signing barely before the tournament started, and managed to send NAVI home.
Their average rating stands extremely close to The MongolZ at 5.8, showing that they are performing at a similar level and with the same inconsistency.
Liquid will look to lean towards 50/50 teamwork maps like Anubis, where they usually do well, and even though The MongolZ have a strong win rate, they don’t seem invincible on it. Inferno could also be an option if TL wants to stick to what most think is the “Standard” map on all series this year.
This game is going to be super tight! Both lineups are getting better recently, as their hunger for silverware rises.
