These are the favorites to win it all at BLAST Paris CS GO Major
The BLAST Paris Major, also known as the last Valve official event for CS GO’s cycle, is set to start from May 8th to the 21st and will reward the last CS GO Major title to one of the 24 total teams attending the event. It is rather obvious the organization that takes this title home will be remembered in CS history. Outside of respect and glory, all teams will be playing for a massive 1.25$ million prize pool to start their projects moving into CS2.
CS GO is definitely an unpredictable scene, however you can always count on certain organizations to bring their A game to an event. Of course you can always count on teams like Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, and Vitality to showcase incredible gameplay, however there are 2 squads above them, even if one of them is starting in the Challengers Stage.
Even though G2 is starting in the Challengers stage, they absolutely are one of the favorites in the tournament. Coming off a BLAST World Final plus IEM Katowice’s trophy back in December 2022 and February 2023, respectively, G2 did struggle somewhat in the ESL Pro League a couple of months ago and at the Europe RMR back in April. Nevertheless, they are still considered the best team in the world when they wake up with the right foot according to analysts. If NiKo, huNter-, m0NESY, Justin “jks” Savage, and Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen come out swinging at Paris, expect them to have an easy time pushing for the title. Big names are definitely within G2’s roster, it is a matter of time until they strike once again.
It has been an incredible time to be a Heroic fan, with the Danish organization arguably at their best before going to Paris. Jakob “Jabbi” Nygaard slowly but surely managed to play better around his teammates in the Heroic system, but he will walk into Paris with an incredible 1.17 rating in the last 3 months, according to HLTV statistics, plus lead the squad to 2 grand finals this year. Of course skill means nothing without consistency, and that is an issue Heroic knows nothing about, as all 5 players are recording a 1.10 or higher rating throughout the entire year. Soon after finishing 2nd in Katowice, 2nd at the Europe RMR, and 2nd at IEM Rio, Paris might be the space to finally grab a title for Casper “cadiaN” Møller’s and company. With top squads stumbling recently, now is the time for Heroic to make the push for 1st place.
Yup they made million on it, heroic as an org should have pay him, he missing out on big money, there is a reason why there are some full time skin creators for csgo
