Back and Forth Battles
Overall the series was an incredible watch, as both teams were delivering outstanding performances looking to gather the juicy prize pool. This success enabled them to advance directly to the semi finals of the playoffs, where Tundra and Falcons defeated Gaimin Gladiators and Team Spirit, respectively. However, when it came to the grand finals, the skill gap was much larger than fans expected.

In the first match of the grand finals, bzm’s proactive playstyle was evident as Tundra’s star player made a strong start. His Beastmaster dominated the Falcons’ strategy, which struggled with item progression compared to a typical offlane hero. The lack of initiation became clear when Malr1ne chose not to fully invest in an engagement tool, making it hard for him to find the right moment to use his ultimate ability.
As the game progressed, the Falcons attempted to improve their team composition. Nevertheless, Crystallis kept Tundra steady, leading them to victory in the late game. Even as the newest member of the team, he showcased the clutch factor that sets him apart.
Just when the Falcons appeared to have a chance after victories in games 3 and 4, their opponent unleashed the full potential of bzm’s renowned Invoker. This opportunity allowed bzm to showcase some of the finest Dota gameplay witnessed in BLAST Slam III. Supported by his teammates’ formidable team fight abilities and Crystallis’ timely assistance, they overwhelmed every engagement.

Following a significant victory at BLAST Slam III, Crystallis has established himself as one of the top Dota 2 carry players available.
