Vitality has confirmed the acquisition of CS GO rifle main Lotan “Spinx” Giladi coming from ENCE today, confirming a report that started since the end of July. The Israeli native will take the spot of Frenchman Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, who later signed with Falcons with Nathan “NBK” Schmitt yesterday, all of this immediately changed and registered.
Spinx’s value grew quite a lot this year thanks to him being the “best” player on the ENCE roster, assisting them to become one of the best current CS GO teams in the scene. The rifler has averaged a 1.15 rating across a huge 115 official maps played this competitive year, and was a definite factor in ENCE’s miraculous runners up place at ESL Pro League season 15 around April and their semifinal run at the PGL Antwerp Major in May.
If you look at this theoretically, Spinx should absolutely increase Vitality’s raw mechanics and take some pressure off star player Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut’s. Vitality IGL Dan “apEX” Madesclaire said that now that they brought Spinx on the team, Vitality have “perfect roles” secured, implying they had some role synergy confusion while misutaaa was still playing for them.
Vitality has opted for this roster change after producing underwhelming results all season, except for a second-place finish at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals at Lisbon, Portugal in June.
The former almost entirely French team has taken another move towards an international team with the removal of misutaaa since apEX and ZywOo are currently the only French native players left on the team. This change started this year with the signings of former Astralis members Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, Emil “Magisk” Reif, and coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen.
Vitality will play with Spinx in the active roster later this week at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, which will be their first competition in the second half of the year. Make sure to check out our content as we cover the most important CSGO events and share our esports picks with you!
Zyphon and Refrezh join Sprout
Now going into Sprout, ex Heroic rifle main Ismail “refrezh” Ali and ex Copenhagen Flames rifle main Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss will be coming back to the frey under the Sprout brand, the German organization announced the changes yesterday.
The Danish dynamic duo arrives as changes for Timo “Spiidi” Richter and Rasmus “raalz” Steensborg, who both left Sprout around three weeks ago. On top of his rifling roles, refrezh will take over the IGL role in Sprout’s roster, which he has never really done previously in his competitive career. The German based organization described the signings of refrezh and Zyphon as a “turning point” in their statement.
Via Sprout statement:
“Just in time for the start of the RMR Qualifiers, we can announce the latest additions to our CS:GO lineup” “In many ways, this is a turning point for us. Welcome home not one, but two greatly talented and skilled players. With our age average down to only 20 and the experience that the duo already bring with them despite their young age, be it the major participation or the victory of the ProLeague, we are very confident about what the future holds.”
