From the opening round, Vitality was flawless. Their confidence was sky high, their game plan was airtight, and they completely dictated the pace of the series. Vitality had a clear plan, neutralize donk, and the rest of Spirit won’t have enough firepower to compete. And it worked perfectly. Donk was kept in check, unable to pull off the ridiculous multi-kill rounds that usually drag Spirit to victory. He had his moments, but it wasn’t enough to carry the team single handedly.
This raises serious questions for Spirit moving forward. It is not a viable plan to rely heavily on one person. They need more consistency from the rest of their roster if they want to stay at the top. Nevertheless, Magixx continues to perform effectively in critical situations, displaying his capacity to be a reliable backup star. However, it proved inadequate to prevent Vitality from assuming the throne.
