You Should Keep An Eye On These 5 LCK Players
1. Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo
Zeka, the most recent Worlds champion and top prospect for 2022, is the first player on this list. Although he wasn’t necessarily the greatest overall, his Worlds run was quite remarkable, and despite switching teams, he’s still one of the players to watch this season. He defeated several top-tier mid laners.
He dominated a meta where the top champions were his favorites and most frequently used. His peak performance might not be as strong now that the meta has changed. Despite this, we are sure Zeka will continue to excel in 2023 as one of the top League players in the globe.

2. Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon
Chovy is one of the most talented mechanically and as an individual player, but he has yet to take home the Worlds trophy. Despite this, he was able to win the Summer Split and an LCK title in 2022. Even while he’s still undoubtedly the strongest Korean player in terms of laning and micro play, the League meta has changed, and his skills are no longer sufficient.
It’s time for him to stand up and lead his team to victory now that he’s in his fourth year of the LCK. Unfortunately, it is simpler to say than to do.
3. Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok

How Faker continues to rank among the best players in League ten years after making his debut is amazing and yet unfathomable. The GOAT never ceases to astound, and as of 2023, he remains one of the most crucial players in T1.
He not only contributes mechanics and expertise, but more significantly, he brings experience that will aid in the development of the T1 youth. It’s unfortunate that he was unable to capture his fourth championship, but T1 has a strong potential to turn things around this year with his leadership.
4. Park “Viper” Do-hyeon
Only one ADC player in the last two League seasons has been able to defeat Ruler, and that player is Viper. The only player who consistently has the similar impact on teams as Ruler is a Korean ADC.
The significant distinction is that Viper accomplished it without the support of a fantastic team. Although EDG had a good team, only Scout was regarded as a top player last year. Viper is your man when it comes to carrying the battles hard.
Viper will have to risk everything to succeed with Hanwha Life Esports now that he has returned to Korea. It may be time to include him in the exclusive club of the greatest ADC League players in esports history if he is able to carry this team on his back as well.
5. Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu

The Korean player is without a doubt the best jungler in the world, even though Canyon and DK may not have had a great year. Not only because he is powerful and talented, but also because over the past three years, he has regularly performed at the very top of his game. Even in 2022, when he lacked enough talented players, DK was making an independent effort to close the gap with the best teams.
Nowadays, there aren’t as many large jungle gaps, but Canyon still has those rare occasions where he totally destroys the other junglers; just ask Peanut about their matchup in the Worlds quarterfinals. Canyon made Peanut seem invisible even though the team lost the series.
Canyon is the top League of Legends player in the world right now for these reasons. Will he be capable of protecting the throne? Time will only tell… He and Dplus, however, currently represent a huge threat for 2023.
