G2 and Vitality Are Leading The LEC
The only two LEC teams who are currently lossless are G2 Esports and Vitality. Now that they are playing each other in week 2, which side will take the league lead? Let’s compare the two teams.
In Week 1 of the LEC, VIT and G2 were the most convincing teams. However, their victories were very different from one another and highlighted various advantages of the two lineups. On the one side, you have G2, who have dominated their opponents with amazing early-game dominance and excellent draft comprehension.
Vitality, on the other hand, had a messier start to the game but showed outstanding late-game macro and execution. There are a few critical areas that must be addressed for the forthcoming series against these two teams in order to increase the possibilities of both teams winning.
Expect a lot of action in the mid lane as Vitality and G2 have demonstrated a similar playstyle in that area, and a propensity to play for their respective mid laners. Both junglers work hard to ensure that their laners gain an advantage, allowing them to snowball and eventually take control of the game.
Can Vitality Overcome G2’s Aggressive Playstyle?
While Vitality has had some strange moments, G2 has also displayed much cleaner early games. That said, if VIT can control the early-mid game, they may be able to turn things around in the later stages.
How well VIT handles G2’s assault will decide its chances of success. Although G2 has been crushing Vitality in scrims, things may be different in the upcoming match, despite the fact that G2 should have a slightly higher probability of winning according to the odds.
But with that in mind, the bot lane, and particularly the support players, will make a difference. Whoever can roam more effectively and is prepared to cover for ganks or actions will ultimately take the lead. When playing against a strong bot lane like Hans Sama and Mikyx, Vitality struggled a little in practically every game.

G2 vs Vitality Picks & Prediction
This is expected to be the most anticipated event of the winter regular split because of the potential conflicts between Yike and Bo and Caps and Perkz.
With a whopping 26 kills after the first three matches of the regular season, Yike is presently leading the LEC. He also has 43.3% of his team’s total kills and a ridiculous 14.3 KDA, the fourth-highest of all LEC players.
It’s hard to deny that Yike is looking like one of the best players in the league right now, which is quite respectable considering that this is his first split playing on the big stage. He is going to be the determining factor in G2’s encounter against Vitality, and I really think that he’ll be able to pull-off a carry performance.
