Both Teams are Sitting at the Bottom of the Standings
Right now, Infinity and Globant are the two worst-performing teams in the league by quite a lot, though the reasons why they are losing their games are very different. Before the split began, a lot of us thought that GET would have a good start of the split, but ultimately would end up failing to perform against the newer faces and players that still have a lot of room to grow.
It looks like we were wrong as they have been unable to find a single win in their first 4 games, making them the only winless team in the summer split so far, which is quite unexpected just by looking at their lineup, which combined, holds 6 LLA titles under their belts. Surprisingly, the Whitelotus and Newbie bot lane is an absolute mess, and the only viable excuse is that they both come off a 1-split break.
On the other hand we have Infinity, a team that couldn’t be stopped during their 2021 campaign and ended up championing both the spring and summer split. But this 2022 Infinity is a completely different one as they decided to revamp their roster in a very questionable way. Now Infinity holds a lot of rookies in their lineup, which hasn’t been working out, though their 20-year-old support Gabriel “Ackerman” Aparicio is still one of the best players in the league.
This team used to be known for having the strongest Latin American players in their lineup, but right now, there is not a single iconic player in the team and they have been unable to perform even against the weaker teams in the LLA. Their weakest link is in the top lane, Jauny “Jauny” Vargas Altamirano used to be a force to be reckoned with last year, but this split he’s looking like one of the weakest top laners in the league, and the reason remains unknown.
2 Rookies Versus 2 Veterans

This bot-lane matchup is going to be the highlight of the game as they arrive in two very different forms. GET’s bot lane comes off after a recent stomp in week 2 against Estral Esports, and I’m not exaggerating, it was the worst performance we’ve seen from these two players in years. Whitelotus and Newbie were struggling from the get-go as Estral’s bot lane killed them without much effort in the very first two minutes of the match, yes, both of them died level 1. Even if the lol bets were telling us that Estral was the favorite team by quite a lot, it was extremely unsettling to see this bot lane fall that far behind so early.
The main concern for this bot lane is that we’ve already seen them at their peak, and right now, they are very, very far from it. I’m worried that this Globant Emerald team is not looking to score any wins and they’re just cruising around the LLA. I might end up being wrong, but that’s what we could see from them in the first 2 weeks of the competition. Their drafts seem just fine, and even if they manage to put their hands on picks like Lucian, they still fall extremely behind from the get-go.
On the other side, Snaker and Ackerman are still trying to prove their worth as rookies in the league. Infinity comes off a recent win against All Knights, though we could say that All Knights lost that game by themselves. The Argentinian bot lane played a Seraphine Senna combo, something that we’ve seen in the major leagues like the LPL. While they performed just decently, they were far from being a determining factor in the game.
While the rest of Infinity is still looking Shaky, Ackerman can be the pillar that this team needs like in prior splits. The Whitelotus Ackerman bot lane from 2021 Infinity is still considered the absolute best bot lane we’ve seen in the history of the LLA, which can give the fans of Infinity some hope for the Argentinian support. Maybe it’s going to take some time for Infinity’s bot lane to adapt to each other’s playstyle, in fact, they have to, because if things keep going this way, we might end up seeing this team fall into the relegation zone.

Globant Emerald vs Infinity Predictions
Let’s face it, Globant Emerald is far from being the team that we thought they were before the split began. The only player that seems to be trying his hardest is Plugo, and his firepower is not strong enough to carry the rest of his team.
Whitelotus and Newbie need to switch a lot of things around if they want to look decent at least, but it looks like we’re not going to see anything worthwhile from them as they don’t seem hungry for victories anymore, and that’s something very important we have to consider when it comes to league of legends betting.
Infinity is still trying to find out what playstyle suits them the best, though I think it’s going to take them a while considering that they completely changed their coaching. But the most important thing about this matchup is that Infinity at least seems to be trying in their games and they keep looking for ways to win their games, something that can’t be said for Globant, that’s why I think that Infinity should pick up the victory.
