KOI vs BISONS ECLUB Match Preview, Live Stream, Odds, Picks & Predictions
Ibai’s League of Legends team aims to wipe the floor with the competition.
The New Kids on the Block
Both brand new organizations advance to the second round of playoffs in the SuperLiga 2022 Spring Split after facing two of the most iconic teams in the spanish league.
KOI, the team founded by Gerard Pique and Ibai Llanos defeated Movistar Riders 3 to 1, and in the same fashion, BISONS ECLUB dealt with G2 Arctic in their respective series. Now they’ll have to face each other in a best of 5 series that features interest lol odds.
Rafitta is Performing When it Matters
KOI’s series against Movistar Riders wasn’t really close even if we consider that MRS took one game off KOI. In the game that KOI lost, Hattrix had a rough start after blind picking Ahri which gave his opponent a chance of locking in Yasuo, this made things very difficult for KOI because the top half of the map was being held in control by MRS who 16 minutes into the game had already taken top lane’s inner and outer turrets.
Instead of bringing KOI down, that defeat gave them enough strength to come back into the series, particularly Rafitta, who had the best performance throughout the 4 games ending with a 9.6 KDA and 9.5 CSM, making him the MVP of the series. But Rafitta wasn’t alone, Koldo had a good showing too, keeping control of the neutral objectives (67.5 DRA%) and working as an enabler for KOI through his early game presence with Lee Sin. Having a player like this is extremely important in a Bo5, especially when your carries are performing in these high-pressure moments that make or break our esports picks.
With an average win time of 30 minutes and 12 seconds, KOI is looking to storm through the rest of playoffs, but there is one thing that might worry KOI fans, and that is Hattrix’ champion pool in playoffs. During the regular split, he played 10 different champions in 18 games, but in his series against MRS we saw him play Ahri three games in a row, and he didn’t do bad, but he didn’t shine either. This might not be a big problem, but it definitely would help if Hattrix can pull out a bigger array of champions in the upcoming games.
BISONS ECLUB Keeps Pulling Off New Strats Like They Did in Regular Split
In their first two games against G2 Arctic, BISONS ECLUB decided to pick Nasus and Senna, a very uncommon combination that ended up working, well, at least it did for one game. The first time it was a success because G2A didn’t have a bot lane strong enough to take Nasus and Senna out of the picture, their engage potential was too weak to get on top of BSO’s long range damage champions and they also lacked enough damage to deal with Guubi’s Nasus once he got a couple of items,
Now if we look at the second game, it was a completely different story because G2 Arctic changed a few things, one of them was picking Yuumi instead of Renata, securing themselves a stronger jungle and support combination. This was paired with the fact that BSO made a couple of important mistakes around the bot side river, giving G2A enough lead to simply roll over them, ending the game in just 21 minutes and 42 seconds. G2A noticed that BSO’s strategy was easy to counter, making BSO drop the strategy completely after losing the second game and going back to a more standard game plan.
Esports betting can get quite weird sometimes, we might ask ourselves, what happens when BSO is not using one of their cheesy strats? “It was a difficult task at the beginning, but we have evolved and improved as a bot lane and as a team so I think we are capable of playing both cheesy and standard picks.” Said Oscure, BSO’s support after their series against G2A.
Oscure feels confident in their bot lane’s flexibility, but it’s also safe to say that BSO can rely on their mid laner Random, having the best KDA of the series (6.0) he also maintained the highest damage output of his entire team. If BSO is running out of pocket picks, they can always fall back on Random’s carry potential.

KOI vs BISONS ECLUB Predictions
KOI is currently leading the head-to-head 2 to 0 and came into the playoffs as the higher seed.
Having seen KOI’s Rafitta performance against Movistar Riders make it seem like he is BSO’s kryptonite, it doesn’t matter what kind of strategy you try to pull off against him, he is always capable of delivering a good performance. In fact, BISONS ECLUB already tried to catch KOI’s bot lane off guard in their last encounter and Rafitta still managed to get MVP of the game.
If you are a KOI fan you should feel great about this matchup because the team can create enough space for Rafitta to feel comfortable during all stages of the game, and as long as SLT doesn’t make any big mistakes, BISONS ECLUB shouldn’t be able to take more than 1 game off KOI.
