Rainbow7 Almost Won Over Isurus
Somehow, the Isurus vs Rainbow7 series seems to have gone under the radar, with a lot of people dismissing the rainbow after the Argentinian shark secured the victory through 5 intense games. Sure, Isurus is one of the strongest contenders for the 2022 LLA Summer Split title, but that only makes R7’s showing more impressive.
Let’s check the game info, League of legends betting, and predictions for Rainbow7 vs Aze.
While a lot of League of Legends betting experts were expecting a quick 3-0 in favor of Isurus, the rainbow squad actually put up a great fight and took the Isurus team all the way to game 5. Fortunately for Isurus, Seiya had a great performance on Azir and managed to close out the series in a convincing manner. This meant that Isurus would advance to the winners’ semifinals, while Rainbow7 would fall down to the lower bracket.
After a lot of questionable roster changes during the regular season, maybe Rainbow7 has finally found the right players to develop their preferred playstyle, though it might not be the best in the current meta. Cepted has become an important piece in the Rainbow7 puzzle because of his selfless approach to the game, which allows the rest of his teammates to act as the main carries.
It’s important to take into consideration that Sohwan used to be the most reliable carry for this team, but seeing how the current meta is unfolding, playing through him might not be the best option. While playing around bot lane is the preferred way to play the game for most teams around the world, unfortunately for R7, Ceo isn’t having a great split so far, which might put them in a disadvantage against Aze.
5Kid is Good enough to Carry the Entirety of Aze

It’s almost like these two teams play in completely opposite ways. When it comes to Aze’s wins, 5kid has been the biggest determining factor. His performance throughout the regular season has demonstrated that the 22-year-old Korean ADC is the deadliest weapon in Aze’s arsenal, and against Rainbow7, it might end up being the key to victory.
To put things into perspective, 5kid has been the only player capable of scoring a pentakill in the summer split (and it was against Rainbow7), though that game ended up in a loss for Aze. Even in their losses, 5kid is the only constant that keeps popping up for Aze, which is definitely a good sign in this matchup.
If we take a look at his stats during the regular season, it’s easy to tell that 5kid is the single most important player for any team in the LLA. Amongst all ADCs, he holds the highest DMG% (31.1), highest DPM (689), all while scoring the highest CSM (10). It seems that the only way to win over Aze is to completely neutralize their ADC, but that is not an easy task at all.
Aloned and Straight have played a huge part in defending Aze’s strongest point. While the mid laner didn’t have a great showing earlier on in the regular season, he has managed to pick up his slack and is now looking like a player solid enough to enable the rest of his team. Straight, on the other hand, is a pillar for his team, and he is always playing around his ADC preventing his opponents from getting any kind of advantage through the bot lane.

Rainbow7 vs Aze Predictions
Sure, Aze didn’t look that great against Estral, but they surely bounced back against Infinity, showing that when they are able to play to their strengths, they are a serious threat to the competition. On the other hand, Rainbow7 is still trying to find the right way to play the game, which is something strange to see in a team several weeks deep into the tournament.
Unless Rainbow7 magically found the solution to all of their problems, and even though the lol bets don’t project so, I don’t see Aze struggling much in this series. There is going to be a huge difference in the bot lane and it’s not like R7’s solo laners are strong enough to take over the game, which makes me feel confident in Aze scoring a victory, which would secure them a spot in the semifinals, where they would face Isurus. This is the 6th of our LLA playoffs esports picks, make sure to check out our league of legends bets we’ll keep covering the tournament through its duration!
