Royal Never Give Up Might Not Be As Strong As We Thought
The first time these two teams played against each other, we were able to predict against the lol bets that Royal Never Give Up’s early aggression would be more than enough to take down T1’s slow-paced game. But a few things have changed since the last time they faced up, especially T1’s performance. The Korean representatives have been able to adapt to the tournament meta, and not only that, but considering their performance during the first couple of days, they’ve been playing way better than we expected.
On the other hand, Royal Never Give Up dropped the ball when they played against Saigon Buffalo, RNG struggled to keep themselves in the game although they ultimately ended up winning the match. The LPL representatives performed really well during the first couple of days in the rumble stage, but now they’ve faced a huge challenge, which is to keep up against the rest of the competition, including teams that are weaker than them, at least on paper.
The LCK Representatives Are Back on Track
T1 clearly struggled during the first few days where they dropped their games against G2 Esports and Royal Never Give Up, but they were able to bounce back into the competition after winning their rematch against G2. The biggest issue for T! was not being able to transition their early leads into a significant advantage, mostly due to their drafts being based around strong side lane control and not necessarily around strong teamfights.
But they fixed this quickly as they started to play champions that allowed them to get early leads and at the same time allowed them to play around mid-late game teamfights. I think that Zeus and Keria have been the determining factors when it comes to T1’s ability to capitalize on their early leads, and T1’s rematch against G2 is a perfect example, where Zeus’ Rumble pick was crucial and many league of legends betting experts would agree with this. I firmly believe that T1 is still the strongest contender for the title if they are able to keep up with this fast-paced playstyle.
Royal Never Give Up Almost Lost Their Match Against Saigon Buffalo
Let’s be honest, after seeing the first couple of days of the rumble stage, the Buffaloes were looking like the weakest contenders for the title and many league of legends bets experts would agree with this. But when the VCS representatives faced Royal Never Give Up they looked like one of the best teams in the entire event. Saigon Buffalo was able to put up a good show against RNG, but they ultimately lost the match in a very disappointing manner. The biggest concern for Royal Never Give Up is if they are going to be able to perform as they did during the first couple of days in the rumble stage.
RNG’s Xiaohu was the one that fell very behind in their game against SGB, and if that happens again, I don’t think that they’ll be able to come back the same way against T1. Right now, the LPL representatives are playing a very teamfight-oriented playstyle, and while that playstyle worked earlier on the rumble stage, it’s no longer the safe option. Royal Never Give Up has to find a way to play the style they want to while not being as predictable as they were against Saigon Buffalo.

T1 vs RNG Predictions
I’ll be blunt, I think that T1 is just the better team right now, and I have a few reasons to believe this. Royal Never Give Up clearly took advantage of the fact that the rest of the teams didn’t adapt quickly to this year’s MSI meta, but as the rumble stage progressed, RNG was no longer in an advantageous position. While RNG is obviously a good team, it’s not going to be easy for them to take down T1 like they did in their first encounter.
One of the other reasons why I think that T1 is a better team is because their laners are looking way more solid than RNG’s. When T1 faced G2 Esports in their rematch, Gumayusi and Zeus completely dominated the teamfights, which makes me believe that they’ll be able to take over RNG and score a victory in their books.
