The Pinnacle Cup IV Playoffs Commence
Team Spirit versus Team Finest will be one of the first encounters of the Pinnacle Cup IV playoffs, and what a matchup it is to kick things off. We recently saw Team Spirit perform one of the most exciting runs in the PGL Major Antwerp, where they defied all the cs-go odds and took down some of the strongest teams in the whole tournament and managed to sneak into the playoffs semifinals. It’s obvious that Team Spirit is the favorite team coming into this match but I think that it’s going to be interesting how they’ll perform in their first game after the major.
On the other hand, Finest might not be a team that qualified for the major, let alone get into the playoffs, but they’re surely one of the best teams in the Pinnacle Cup IV playoffs and we’ll get to see how they’ll be able to perform against one of the best teams in the world. Finest already took down Team Spirit earlier on in the Pinnacle Cup and we all know that after every major, the participating teams often end up playing at a much lower level, which means that Finest might have a chance to defeat them once again.
Team Spirit is Officially One of The Best Teams in The World
Before the PGL Major Antwerp even started, a lot of cs-go betting experts thought that Team Spirit wouldn’t be able to make it past the first stage, but they were all wrong. Against every single expectation, Team Spirit took down the strongest teams in the whole tournament and delivered a solid performance when they played in front of a huge crowd. It was impressive to see how a team full of young players managed to play under so much pressure and still put up such a strong fight all the way, and it makes it safe to say that a lot more CSGO teams might start looking into adding young players to their rosters.
The Russian team already managed to perform over the expectations multiple times, now they just need to put all their experience in use. I say this because we’ve seen time and time again how teams that end up having a strong performance in any big event, fall off really hard after the tournament is over. If Team Spirit is able to keep up their level and manage to simply roll over teams that are much weaker on paper, they might end up being one of the biggest revelations of the past couple of years.
Twist Might Be Able to Twist Things Around for Finest
Simon “twist” Eliasson is a true veteran, he’s been playing for over 10 years and we’ve seen him in iconic teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic, now Twist joined Team Finest back in March and they’ve been getting better and better. They are the only team in the whole tournament that have managed to snatch a map from Team Spirit, which is quite surprising considering their place in the standings. If Team Finest finds their groove then they just might be able to take down their Russian counterpart, albeit they would have to put up the best performance we’ve ever seen from them.
They might have a small advantage against Team Spirit in this match because they had the opportunity to see Team Spirit play their best during the PGL Major Antwerp, and it’s not like the Russian squad would be hiding their strategies on a major event. That’s why I think that this match isn’t going to be a complete stomp from Team Spirit, if the Team Finest players are on a decent level skill-wise, then that tactical advantage might be enough to craft a strategy that counters Team Spirit’s playstyle.

Team Spirit vs Team Finest Predictions
The cs-go odds indicate that Team Spirit are the clear favorites in this match, and that’s for a good reason. Team Spirit are the only team in the Pinnacle Cup IV that managed to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp, and not only that, they made it all the way to the semifinals, where they would get defeated by FaZe, the team that ended up winning the whole thing.
Team Finest might have a few tools to give Team Spirit a run for their money, but taking the series home is going to be a very hard challenger for them. Sadly for Team Finest, there is no lower bracket in this tournament, which means that most likely they’ll end up getting knocked out right away unless they are able to pull off a miracle. Even if Team Spirit doesn’t perform the same way they did during the major, I still think that they’ll score a win in their books against Team Finest.
