TES Put Up a Masterclass Against LNG
A few days ago, we talked about how Top Esports is one of the hottest teams in the LPL in one of our esports picks as they are on a 3-match winning streak and are looking like strong contenders for the championship. While we expected TES to pick up the win against LNG, it was still very surprising to see the way they did it. The first game was somewhat close, but in reality, LNG never had a clear chance at coming back into the match, but it was mostly because of TES capitalizing almost perfectly on their lead.
We can’t say the same thing about game 2, where Knight completely dominated LNG and closed up the game by the 24-minute mark. He ended up being a determining factor in TES 2-0 convincing win over LNG. 33 KDA, 9.1 CSM, 862 DPM are some of the numbers he racked up throughout the series, and this backs up what we’ve said about Knight before and how he is arguably the best mid laner in the league.
JackeyLove performed very well too, with a 24 KDA and 1024 DPM, which was the highest of the series, he demonstrated once again that he is exactly the type of ADC that TES needs. This team doesn’t necessarily rely on having an early game, mainly because they are really good at teamfighting. But if we look at how cleanly they’ve been playing their laning phases, it’s hard for them to not amass huge early game leads.
It’s simply scary how good TES looks right now, and if they manage to keep the ball rolling, they might be able to win the grand finals rematch next week, when they face the 2022 MSI Champions RNG.
Ultra Prime Faced Huanfeng’s Wrath

Last week, Weibo Gaming looked a bit shaky when they dropped one of their games against Rare Atom, a team that has only managed to win a single match so far. Luckily for them, it didn’t mean much as they ended up winning the series 2-1, though that game they dropped might hurt them in the later stages of the tournament. This only meant that Weibo would have to unleash their wrath against their next opponent, in this case, it was Ultra Prime.
UP is far from being a strong team in the league, but they have won a couple of matches already so Weibo wasn’t going to go easy on them. The draft from Weibo for the first game looked very comfortable for them, 2 scaling side laners and a mid laner capable of acting as an enabler.
This split, Xiang “Angel” Tao has been playing a lot of Twisted Fate and Ahri, and UP tried to counter this by banning Ahri, but leaving TF open was a mistake. Weibo closed out the opening game of the series in 23 minutes, making it one of the shortest games of the split. The 2nd game was very similar, though Weibo ended up playing Kalista and Renata in the bot lane, which is one of the deadliest combos in the game right now. Huanfeng’s Kalista finished the game with 16 KDA and 668 DPM.
The thing is that nobody was expecting an Ultra Prime victory over Weibo as the lol odds projected. Now they have a huge challenge ahead of them, and it’s hard to say that they are in a better position, stylistically speaking.

Weibo Gaming vs Top Esports Predictions
While Weibo’s bot lane looked really good in their last game against UP, I don’t think that we’ll be seeing the same performance from them against a team like Top Esports. And not only the bot lane but the rest of the lanes as well.
JackeyLove could be considered one of the best ADCs in the league right now, just from what we’ve seen so far. Knight’s playstyle is basically a counter to the way that Angel plays. I don’t see Knight falling behind in lane far enough for Angel to take over the game like he did against UP. Also, it’s important to consider that Knight’s champion pool is basically infinite, so that’s going to give Weibo even more problems.
