Rainbow7 Will Claim Revenge Against XTEN
During the Spring Split regular season Rainbow7 won 13 out of 14 games, and all of those wins were very convincing ones. Only one team was capable to take defeat R7 against the lol odds, and out of the 7 teams in the league, XTEN was the one who did it.
In the spring split, XTEN was often considered a wildcard team as it was very hard to know what kind of strategy they would use against their opponents. They scored a win against every team except for Estral Esports and Globant Emerald, which was quite surprising, to say the least.
Their game against Rainbow7 almost reached the 40-minute mark as both teams had a very messy game. but after a very clean fight from XTEN, they were able to close out the game.
Although Rainbow7 did take down XTEN a couple of weeks after that game, I’m willing to bet that they’re still feeling resentful towards them for ruining their perfect regular season record. Now with their recent acquisition of Baek “Ophelia” Jin-seong, there is no doubt that R7 has every tool they need to beat XTEN once again.
Ophelia vs Keine, an LCK Challenger League Rematch

Ophelia played for Gen.G in the LCK Challenger League, while Keine played for the Afreeca Freecs Challengers, and both of them were considered the best mid laners in the whole league.
After a couple of splits, they’ll now have the opportunity to once again play against each other. I consider both of them the best mid laners in the LLA, and I would add Mireu to that list, who is another Korean player that also played in the LCK CL.
Although Keine is an extremely good mid laner, I don’t think that the rest of his team will be able to put up a good fight against the Rainbow7 players. Just like in the spring split, Keine and Zerito will be responsible for scoring XTEN the victories they need in order to sneak into the playoffs.
The thing is that most of the teams brought in reinforcements, which makes me think that XTEN is most likely going to finish the regular season at the bottom of the standings.
Oddie Will Put Up a Masterclass Against Seize
While the mid lane matchup might be a very close one, I think that there will be a huge jungle difference this game. Kim “Seize” Chan-hee comes into the LLA after a split of inactivity, and before that, he had a decent run with Liiv SANDBOX Challengers in the LCK CL.
Seize just might have what it takes to surprise the rest of the competition, but facing Oddie is going to be a tough challenge as the Peruvian jungler has been the best jungler in the region for quite a while now.
Oddie was responsible for most of Rainbow7 victories during the spring split regular season as he was outclassing every single one of the junglers in the league. But he was also responsible in big part for Rainbow7’s disappointing performance in the playoffs as we got used to seeing him dominate from very early on in the game and he was unable to replicate that during the second phase of the split.
Now Oddie has to prove once again that he is a league above the rest of the junglers, and this match against Seize will be a good opportunity to do so.

XTEN vs Rainbow7 Predictions

As mentioned before, there is a lot of pride involved for Rainbow7 in this match as XTEN is the team that didn’t allow them to achieve a perfect regular season record. Though even if there was no emotional value in this match, I still think that Rainbow7 is heavily favored in this match as every single one of their players, except for the mid lane, outclasses their counterparts.
XTEN’s bot lane is amongst the weakest in the league and they’ll be going up against Ceo and Slow, which many lol betting experts consider a top-2 bot lane in the tournament. The only way I see XTEN scoring an upset win is if they over perform while R7 underperforms at the same time, but that’s very unlikely, that’s why Rainbow7 will end up bringing the victory home, as the lol odds indicate.
