BetUS Golf Show Panel Tackles Torrey Pines and U.S. Open
Golf Show Panel
The third major of the season comes up this weekend, the U.S. Open. After being delayed until September in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USGA’s crown jewel is back on Father’s Day weekend and will take place at the brilliant South Course on Torrey Pines in California.
Flash leads the discussion on who will walk away with the honors and also lets viewers in on a promo that BetUS is running. Use the code USOPENGOLF and when you sign up for an account, a 125% bonus up to $2,500 is yours.

As for the test that Torrey Pines will provide, Flash discusses the tournament with James Mazzola. This will be an intense weekend over 72 holes … at least.
One of the favorites is Brooks Koepka, who has eight wins on Tour, and half of them have come in majors. Koepka is clear to everyone that he points toward the biggest tournaments and this is one of them.
A nemesis of Koepksa, Bryson DeChambeau also is in the talented field. DeChambeau is embroiled in a “feud” with Koepka that has brought golf a tremendous amount of attention in recent weeks. He has eight wins, too, with one major, which happens to be the 2020 U.S. Open.

Mazzola thinks this course fits the defending champion with his powerful, long drives.
The TV ratings would be off the charts if these two wound up playing in the same group on Saturday and Sunday.
Another player who figures to be near the top of the leaderboard come Sunday is Dustin Johnson. The six-time majors champion has won 24 events overall and when he is on his game is a threat to run away with any tournament.
The U.S. Open is a battle to play near par. It is highly unusual for a player to go way low. This weekend shouldn’t be any different.
