Charles Schwab Challenge Predictions, Picks and PGA Prop Bets, May 22: Keep Riding Scheffler (+230)

Charles Schwab Challenge odds are available for the next PGA Tour tournament, where Scottie Scheffler is the short favorite at +240 to win.
Top 4 Charles Schwab Challenge Picks
1. Scottie Scheffler (+230)
The PGA betting odds for Scheffler to win are short, but after winning the PGA Championship by five shots last week, it’s hard to bet against the best player in the world.
Because the PGA was his third major win, we don’t think he would have celebrated too hard on Monday. It should be business as usual for the American, who wants to establish a lead in the FedEx Cup.
With Rory McIlroy taking a break after being out of sorts at Quail Hollow, Scheffler is easily the best player in the field. Tommy Fleetwood is next best with golf odds, and he’s never won on the PGA Tour.
2. Tommy Fleetwood (+2200)
It was another strong showing for Fleetwood at the PGA Championship, but it was also another tournament without a win.
The British golfer is one of the best – if not the best – players in the world without a PGA Tour win, and we’re hoping that changes sooner rather than later. We have backed him most weeks without success, but the win is coming.
The latest golf news suggests he’s feeling good after finishing T41, and he produced a better score on Sunday than Scheffler. That should give him some confidence, and the +2200 odds make him a worthwhile inclusion in my Charles Schwab Challenge picks.
3. Maverick McNealy (+2800)
I have been impressed by the play of Maverick McNealy in 2025, so he’s included in my Charles Schwab Challenge predictions.
He finished T33 last week, and he’s a winner this season when scoring at the RSM Classic in November. That was a stylish win from the 29-year-old, who finished T3 in the RBC Heritage behind Justin Thomas last month.
Beating Scheffler isn’t something he has done often, but Scheffler can’t win every tournament, and McNealy could be there to pounce on Sunday.
Bettors get +2800 odds, so he’s worth including in picks.
4. Keith Mitchell First Round Leader (+5000)
Keith Mitchell is one of the best players to pick for first-round leader bets. He shows his best form early in the tournament, and he has already led after the first round in 2025.
Mitchell might have missed the cut last week, but the Charles Schwab Challenge suits his game better than majors golf, and he showed that when finishing T7 at the Truist Championship two weeks ago.
He started that tournament with an excellent first round, and given the +5000 odds, Mitchell can’t be left out of golf picks.
