Have a Gander at Xander in Zozo Championship
PGA Tour heads to Japan
The Narashino Country Club hosts the next stop on the PGA Tour at the Zozo Championship, where Xander Schauffele headlines the field.
The American is the only player paying less than +1000 with golf betting markets, so there are high expectations.

Last week’s winner, Tom Kim, is also in the field and he always creates plenty of interest.
Let’s check the latest Golf odds, stats, injury reports, and Golf lines for Zozo Championship. We’ve plenty of Golf Vegas odds for you to consider.

Schauffele Returns to Japan
The last time Schauffele played in Japan, he came back with a gold medal around his neck after winning at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
He needed time to recover from his post-Ryder Cup celebrations, but it should be business as usual for the +750 sportsbook favorite.
One thing we love about Schauffele is his quiet confidence, which is intentional.
“I feel prone to hermit because it’s easier to just focus on the golf,” Schauffele told The Athletic. It’s a safe space — hermitting is a safe space. Golf is such a weird game, you know?
“It’s so slow. Quiet. Non-contact. It makes it so much easier to not go scorched earth. If I just said, ‘screw it,’ and said what I wanted all the time? No. As soon as you put yourself out there, let the bad things in, getting your mind going somewhere else, it’ll tear you apart. You’ve seen it happen to golfers.”
Winning your first tournament following the Ryder Cup isn’t easy, but Kim did it last week and Schauffele could return in style.
- Pick: Xander Schauffele +750
Superstar Kim
Tom Kim is soon to be a household name after winning his second PGA Tour tournament before the age of 21.
The South Korean won the Shriners Hospitals for Childen Open by three shots, despite coming into the 18th hole tied for the lead. Patrick Cantlay choked and Kim held his nerve despite not being in that situation often.
“I got very lucky on the 18th. I’m not going to lie, Patrick played awesome, and it was an honor to battle with him, and to come out on top, I feel very fortunate,” Kim said.
The 20-year-old is making waves on the tour and we thought he would be on the second line of betting online markets. Instead, he’s a +1400 chance and we are here to snap up the value price.
We think he’s good enough to win again in 2022. The tournaments at the end of the year are soft in terms of high-quality players, so Kim can take advantage and become the new Scottie Scheffler.
- Pick: Tom Kim +1400
Young is Long Overdue
Cameron Young is one of the more talented golfers on the PGA Tour. He was good enough to make the U.S. team for the Ryder Cup, but there’s one thing hanging over his head.
The 25-year-old has yet to win a PGA Tour event, despite scoring a T3 finish at the 2022 PGA Championship and a runner-up finish at the Open Championship.
He has become the new Will Zalatoris, who finally secured his first win earlier in the year, but Young is still waiting.
There’s little doubt that he’ll get his win and it could be this week. Bookmakers have Young at +1600 and that’s excellent value for golf bettors to snap up.
Young is always around the top of the leaderboard, and much like Schauffele, he gave himself a couple of weeks to get over the Ryder Cup celebrations.
We wouldn’t leave Young out of selections.
- Pick: Cameron Young +1600
