The CJ Cup has attracted the highest-quality field possible, with the likes of Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas.
It’s only a select field, but when Carlos Ortiz is the longest odds in the field, you know you’re getting quality golf action.
It starts on Thursday at Summit Golf Club, and we couldn’t be more excited. Golf odds are available for every player in the CJ Cup field.
Win Coming for Johnson
Johnson hasn’t won a golf tournament since the 2020 Masters, which wasn’t that long ago, but it’s a long time for someone of his quality.
He won the Ryder Cup with Team USA and top-scored for the Americans, so he’s hitting the ball well enough to win the CJ Cup. His recent results are also good form guides, including a T6 at the BMW Championship and an eighth placing at the TOUR Championship.

That’s the closest he has come to winning all season, but he has notched top 10 finishes at The Open Championship and the World Golf Championship.
The sportsbook has Johnson at +1200 to win, which is a fair price for the former top player in the world. He won’t take long to win a tournament, and he gets conditions to suit at the CJ Cup.
He has a fan in J.R. Smith. The former NBA player, now a budding college player, thinks Johnson’s mental game is up there with the best.
“I love the charisma DJ (Dustin Johnson) has. When he hits a bad shot, he’s like, I don’t worry about it, I’ll make up for it next hole,” Smith told Golf.com.
It’s one of the reasons why we’re picking Johnson to win.
Pick: Dustin Johnson +1200
Sweet Striking Morikawa in the Mix
Collin Morikawa is one of the purest ball strikers on Tour, so he deserves to go into calculations for the CJ Cup.
The 24-year-old has made a terrific start to his professional career, which includes two major wins and 22 consecutive made cuts.
Currently ranked No. 3 in the world, Morikawa is a danger whenever he tees it up. His Ryder Cup performance had merit, and he has a huge advantage over the field in one aspect.
The house is tilted in Collin Morikawa’s favor for the limited field of 78 at THE CJ CUP @ SUMMIT.

Morikawa is a member of Summit Golf Club, so knows everything about the course, inside and out. It’s set up differently to what members experience, but we have little doubt Morikawa plays it at PGA Tour standard.
The five-time PGA Tour winner is on the fourth line of betting at +1600, which is an excellent price for one of the best players in the world.
Pick: Collin Morikawa +1600
Stick with Hideki
This year’s Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is worth sticking with for another week.
The Japanese superstar made the cut at the Shriners Open last week, but he didn’t play overly well. However, his T6 finish at the Fortinet Championship was a much better result.
It wasn’t easy for Matsuyama to come down from the highs of winning his first major, so we were prepared to give him time. Bettors are expecting better results from the 29-year-old, so we’re backing him.
He has his eyes set on playing in Japan in the Zozo Championship, but what better way to enter the tournament than winning the CJ Cup?
“Playing at home is always a treat as I’m competing in the U.S. for most parts of the year,” Matsuyama said.
“Being the only PGA Tour tournament in Japan, I hope to become the first Japanese golfer to win this event and I will give everything that I’ve got to challenge for a victory.”
Bettors Falling Out on Fowler
Bettors are concerned about whether Rickie Fowler will win again on the PGA Tour, but we think he has another big tournament in him.
Donned in orange, Fowler always attracts a crowd on the course, but he needs to start producing. There were signs that he had recaptured his best form with a T11 finish at The Memorial, but he needs to improve his recent form.
Making cuts is seen as a positive for the 32-year-old, who reached a high of No. 4 in the world. However, we’re sticking with him for one more tournament, but we’re at the end of our tether.
Getting +14000 with bet online markets would ease the pain, and if Jordan Spieth can make a triumphant return to winning, so can Fowler.
