A star-studded field headlines the Arkansas Championship on the LPGA Tour, including Lydio Ko, Nasa Hataoka and Nelly Korda.
There is always value available when betting on women’s golf and the sportsbook has excellent prices for the NW Arkansas Championship.
Most of the money has come for Ko, who owns 23 professional wins in a glittering career.
Let’s check the latest Golf picks, stats, injury reports, and Golf odds for Arkansas Championship. We’ve plenty of Golf predictions for you to consider.
Ko Ready for KO Win
It’s no surprise to see money coming for Ko, who is long overdue a victory having not won since taking out the Gainbridge in January.
That’s a long time between drinks for the New Zealander, who is slowly working her way back to being the best in the world.
She finished T16 at the Dana Open, which followed a fourth at the Women’s Open, so she performs highly at the big tournaments and the Arkansas Championship boasts an impressive field.
“I know there were times that I wondered … I don’t know if I’m ever going to be back in the winner’s circle,” Ko told LPGA.com. “I think with Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama winning, and I know it’s been a while since they won as well, that kind of gave me a little bit of hope saying maybe I could follow that trend.
“When you’re playing alongside the best female golfers, it’s not easy. I’m proud of the way I stayed patient along the way.”
Golf odds have her at +900, which is surprisingly short but not unwarranted. Ko is getting back to her best and it’s incredible to think she’s still only 25.
She won the Arkansas Championship in 2016, so it’s a familiar tournament and we’re backing her in.
Pick: Lydia Ko +1000
Whoa Nelly!
Nelly Korda had a breakout 2021 with four victories, including the Women’s PGA Championship. However, she has yet to win in 2022.
The 24-year-old has pulled the reins, but she’s good enough to bounce back and show why she’s one of the best in the world.
She didn’t fire in the fourth round at the Portland Classic and finished T31. She got even par on the final round when other players were going deep, but we’re sticking with her.
Her form has been too bad to be true, given how well she played last year. However, she’s a class act and betting online markets have her at +1200 to win, which is a fantastic price.
It could pay to overlook her recent form and stick with the American.
Pick: Nelly Korda +1200
Pressure on Thompson
There has always been pressure on Lexi Thompson to perform, but it’s being piled on now after missing the cut at the Queen City Championship.
The 27-year-old American has often been seen as one of the more talented golfers on the LPGA, but she hasn’t won since 2019.
The 11-time LPGA winner won the ShopRite LPGA Classic in June 2019, so it has been awhile and she needs to regain her best form.
She has competed and beaten quality fields in the past, so there’s no reason why she can’t win the Arkansas Championship this week. Thompson only needs a bit of confidence as she has the power to dominate the course.
We believe she’s a good bet at the +3000 price. We’re happy to take those odds and we would have priced her around +2400, so Thompson is the value pick for the LPGA tournament.
Pick: Lexi Thompson +3000
