Koepka Major Value at U.S. Open
Scheffler Favored to Prevail
Most of the action with U.S. Open lines has come for Scottie Scheffler to prevail at +600, but we believe there is better value at the sportsbook with Brooks Koepka.
As always with U.S. Open odds, there is excellent value throughout the market, so we look at the best tournament winner options for the third golfing major of the year.

Can’t Look Past Koepka
Sport betting markets have Koepka on the third line of betting at +1100, which is an excellent price for the form golfer of the field.
It is widely acknowledged that Koepka is the strongest contender in major championships, especially following his win at the PGA Championship.
His outstanding performance last month, and his near-victory at the Masters, indicate that he has returned to his peak form, and being injury-free is a huge bonus.
“He is back to being healthy,” said fellow LIV golfer Cameron Smith. “I think that brings a little bit of internal confidence as well being out there and just being able to do your stuff.”
Having secured five major titles and the flexibility to participate in the LIV Tour, Koepka has established himself as the ultimate golfer in major tournaments.
Koepka’s consistent success in majors, which includes consecutive U.S. Open titles in 2017 and 2018, make him the best player to bet on with online gambling markets.
We would have been happy to take +700 for Koepka, so lock in the value odds.
Hats Off to Hatton
Since U.S. Open betting markets were released, money has come for Tyrrell Hatton.
The Brit played well at the RBC Canadian Open last week, so he’s in red-hot form and he has the game to be a major winner.
Enjoyable week at the @RBCCanadianOpen, pleased with a T3 finish.
Amazing crowds & incredible win for @ntaylorgolf59. 🇨🇦

Throughout the year, Hatton has consistently positioned himself near the top of leaderboards, with notable performances include a T12 finish at the Memorial, a T15 finish at the PGA Championship and a commendable second-place result at The Players in March.
While Hatton finished five strokes behind Scheffler at The Players, his impressive final-round score of -7 demonstrates his potential to win at the major championship level.
As a skilled European golfer, the Los Angeles Country Club should play right into his hands, so +2800 is an excellent price.
If he starts the tournament well, bettors should expect his Golf live betting odds to firm to around +1500.
Scheffler Worth a Shout
He might be the favorite at +600 and expected to win, but there is some pressure on Scheffler to perform.
The American hasn’t won outside of February, March and April, so there is pressure on the world No. 1 to deliver at this time of the year.
He has been one of the most consistent golfers throughout 2023, including two victories, so it’s not like he’s underperforming. However, we would like to see him get the monkey off his back.
It all comes down to putting. He’s hitting the ball beautifully but not making any putts, which are needed to win the U.S. Open.
Odds of +600 are too short for our liking, but there’s no way we’re leaving him out of our selections.
Fowler Comes Home to Roost
Local golfer Rickie Fowler is having his best year for a long time, so he could be worth a wager at big odds.
The Californian has been an excellent top-20 bet recently, but he’s good enough to beat the rest of the field at the 2023 U.S. Open.
Bookmakers have Fowler at +4000, which is a terrific price for the man in orange. He finished T9 at The Memorial, T6 at the Charles Schwab Challenge and T13 at The Players.
That’s enough to include him in selections at juicy odds.
