Lock in Scheffler for PGA Championship Honors

Odds Favor World No. 1 in Year's Second Major at Southern Hills

The 2022 PGA Championship in 2022 will feature the greatest in golf, and we can’t wait to see the likes of Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas and current world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

The second major tournament of the year will be held at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. Golf betting odds are available for all players.

Scheffler is the market leader, but he is up against a slew of top-tier competitors for the Wanamaker Trophy, which will be decided on Sunday afternoon.

Let’s check the latest news, stats, injury reports, and golf odds for the PGA Championship. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.

Scottie Too Hottie

Last week at the AT&T Byron Nelson, Scottie Scheffler wasn’t at his best, but he might be storing his brilliance for Southern Hills.

With four victories in 2022, including the Masters at Augusta in April, the American superstar rose to prominence in a big way.

His form has been exceptional, and although not winning last week, he performed well enough to be toward the top of the leaderboard behind champion K.T. Lee.

Scheffler is the obvious favorite in the 2022 PGA Championship odds at +1400. After his previous success, he deserves to be the favorite, and Southern Hills should suit his game.

Our golf betting picks have Scheffler at the top and his odds may firm during the week, so locking in the odds could be beneficial.

Pick: Scottie Scheffler +1400

Woods to Have Impact

Tiger Woods often makes headlines and this week will likely be no exception.

At The Masters, the golfing legend put in an outstanding performance, and another strong showing at the PGA Championship is predicted.

According to former U.S. Open champion and ESPN analyst Andy North, Woods might be in greater form at the PGA than at the Masters.

“He prefers warmer weather,” North told The Mirror of Woods. “I think the cold weather on the weekend (at Augusta) definitely did him a disservice.

“It isn’t the simplest walk in the world, but it isn’t Augusta. Overall, I believe he is in a better position than he was on Thursday prior to the Masters. It’ll be fascinating to see what happens next.”

It’s tough to watch a golfing major and not have something on Woods. He’s a legend of the game and we’re having a nibble on the value odds.

Pick: Tiger Woods +4000

Stick with Overdue Thomas

Bettors continue to follow Justin Thomas and he keeps tempting us with a win, so we’re growing impatient.

Thomas put in another solid showing at the Byron Nelson, and despite his lack of tournament victories, he’s worth following in the PGA Championship.

Thomas does not go winless for extended periods of time and his form is excellent enough to win, but he must avoid the costly errors that are plaguing him.

The American will contend for the PGA Championship crown in 2022 if he can keep the ball straight off the tee, which has been causing him problems.

He is gaining ground in the betting online markets, which have him at +1600 to emerge victoriously.

Pick: Justin Thomas +1800

Hit a Homa

Max Homa, like Scheffler, is one of the best golfers in the world at the moment after securing the Wells Fargo Championship.

He defeated a quality field that included Rory McIlroy, so it was an outstanding win and he’s rising in confidence with every tournament.

Homa made the cut at the Masters and his 2021 season also included two wins, which is better than the large majority of players on the PGA Tour.

He’s missed the cut in his last two PGA Championships, but his form has drastically improved and he’s worth betting on at the +3500 odds, which is an outstanding price.

Homa is confident and confident golfers are always worth backing.

Pick: Max Homa +3500
