1. Scheffler (-165) vs McIlroy
I rate Scheffler a better player at Augusta than Rory McIlroy, and I’m not alone in that thinking. Scheffler is a -165 chance to beat McIlroy over 72 holes, and history suggests he’ll have no problem.
McIlroy is playing better golf than Scheffler, per PGA stats, having won the Players at Sawgrass, but Scheffler is a two-time winner at the Masters and McIlroy can be tough to follow at the best of times.
I love to bet on golf, and Scheffler is well worth including in Masters parlays.
2. Joaquin Niemann (-105) vs Ludvig Aberg
Ludvig Aberg played well in the 2024 Masters but that effort could be tough to reproduce in 2025, and Joaquin Niemann is a man on a mission.
The LIV player hasn’t performed well in majors throughout his career, and as the best-performed player at LIV, he needs to show why he’s so highly regarded at the rebel tour.
It should be a close matchup, but my Masters predictions have Niemann edging clear of Aberg in the final round on Sunday. Golf betting lines have Niemann at -105, so the odds are generous enough to entertain.
3. Shane Lowry (-112) vs Russell Henley
Masters betting odds have Shane Lowry and Russell Henley also even, but I don’t rate them at the same price. Lowry is a much better golfer and he’s also one of the best players tee to green.
That matters at Augusta, and I priced Henley at +110 to beat Lowry over 72 holes. The Irishman has been playing well in 2025 and he has experience winning a major, which Henley doesn’t.
Henley needs to have a good putting performance just to stay in the hunt, so take the -112 for Lowry to win comfortably.
4. Patrick Cantlay vs Corey Conners
I expect a big showing from Corey Conners, who loves playing at Augusta and should be ready to fire this week.
Golf news shows that Conners has played well enough recently to make moves up the Masters leaderboard, and Patrick Cantlay hasn’t been the same golfer since winning the FedEx Cup.
He has more wins to his name, but Cantlay is trending negatively, and Connors is starting to come of age. My golf picks have Connors beating Cantlay at +112, which is one of the best head-to-head odds available.
