The Memorial Tournament odds have Scottie Scheffler favored to win at +275, and although he didn’t fire last week, he could bounce back at one of the PGA Tour’s signature events.
Top 4 Memorial Picks
1. Scottie Scheffler (+275)
I’m not surprised to see golf odds have Scheffler at +275. He was disappointing last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge at odds of +240, so bettors should continue to follow the American.
Without Rory McIlroy in the field, Scheffler is the only elite player in the field, and he’s been close to winning tournaments without playing his best golf. Even when winning the PGA Championship, Scheffler didn’t play his best.
He typically plays his best golf when big money is available, and that’s the case at the Memorial. He only needs to play close to his best to put this field away by 5+ strokes.
2. Sepp Straka (+3800)
I can’t turn down the value PGA betting odds for Sepp Straka. The big Austrian has been one of the best golfers on the tour this year and he comes off a recent win.
The 32-year-old won the Truist Championship when beating Justin Thomas by two strokes, and that field included most of the best players in the world. He followed it up with a missed cut at the PGA, but that course didn’t suit him.
Playing the Memorial should suit his style of play, and getting +3800 is too good to pass up. Straka is rocketing up the world rankings, so expect another tidy performance.
3. Russell Henley (+4400)
I’m featuring Russell Henley in my Memorial Tournament picks and his chances of winning hinge on his putter.
Henley is one of the streakiest putters on the PGA Tour, and if his putter is hot this week, he should go close to winning. He missed the cut at the PGA with a terrible +10 performance, but that was mostly due to a poor first-round effort.
He came back on Friday with a -1 score, and the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational winner should feel confident about winning his second PGA Tournament of the year.
4. Aaron Rai (+4800)
Aaron Rai is ranked 30th in the world, which puts him above the likes of Akshay Bhatia, Sam Burns, Sahith Theegala and Tony Finau. However, I doubt he features in many Memorial Tournament predictions.
The British golfer is having a good year and he often goes under the radar in betting markets. He’s a steady golfer, and with the course likely to play hard, his consistency could shine through.
I’m happy to include him in my golf picks at +4800 odds.
