1. McIlroy (+105) vs Scheffler
One of my PGA Championship best bets is McIlroy to beat Scheffler. McIlroy is my pick to win the tournament, and he should get the better of Scheffler, who has yet to win three of the four majors.
Scheffler might have won his most recent PGA Tour outing, but the American didn’t face a tough field, and as McIlroy has already shown this year when winning The Players and The Masters, he has Scheffler’s measure.
Getting +105 for McIlroy to win is good value.
2. Thomas (+115) vs Rahm
Golf odds PGA Championship for Justin Thomas are juicy, and the American could get the better of Jon Rahm this week.
Rahm has struggled in the majors since moving to the LIV Tour, and with Thomas playing much better in 2025, including a win, he can’t be overlooked at Quail Hollow in North Carolina this week.
With disappointing finishes recently, Rahm is the false favorite in this head-to-head matchup at -140. The best value is Thomas, who could post a top-10 finish.
3. Matsuyama (+112) vs Niemann
Hideki Matsuyama never gets respect with golf betting picks, but the Japanese champion should be right in the mix at the 2025 PGA Championship.
The former Masters winner has a class advantage over LIV’s Joaquin Niemann, who is awesome on the LIV Tour, but that hasn’t translated to much success in major tournaments on the world stage.
Niemann is a -132 favorite to beat Matsuyama, which is quite incredible. Give me a player with experience of winning a major any day of the week against someone like Niemann.
4. Harman (+107) vs Kim
Brian Harman is one my PGA Championship favorites, despite being +11000 to win outright. The lefty is a major champion and that can’t be overlooked.
The 2023 Open Championship winner plays best in tough conditions, and with Quail Hollow taking no prisoners, he could shine, especially against a player like Si Woo Kim.
Kim can struggle in tough conditions, and although he has more length than Harman, getting +107 for a player with his experience and a 2025 win next to his name, I can’t leave him out of picks.
