PGA Championship Props: Anchoring McIlroy

Oak Hill Site of Second Golf Major

PGA Championship odds are out for prop markets and we have found the best value available.

Oak Hill in Rochester, N.Y., hosts the second major of the year, which includes all the best players in the world such as Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

There is excellent value in PGA Championship lines.

Top GB & Ireland – Rory McIlroy

We expect big things from McIlroy, who is our top pick to win the PGA Championship at the sportsbook.

Because we think he’s going to win, he’s a value pick to be the top Great Britain & Ireland player, which also features the likes of Matt Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton, and Tommy Fleetwood.

If McIlroy is anywhere near his best, he should beat them, which is why he’s a +200 favorite to win this prop bet.

“I think I’m close. I think I’ve made some good strides even from Quail Hollow a couple weeks ago. I’m seeing some better things, better start lines, certainly just some better golf shots,” McIlroy said. “A little more sure of where I’m going to start the ball and sort of a more consistent shot pattern. But yeah, look, we’ll get out there and see and play.

“I expect to go out there, and if I can execute the way that I feel like I can, then I still believe that I’m one of the best players in the world and I can produce good golf to have a chance of winning this week.”

Top Debutant – Sahith Theegala

PGA Championship betting lines have Sahith Theegala at +650 to be the top debutant this week, which is a generous price.

He’s clearly the most talented debutant in the field, especially with the likes of Taylor Moore and Taylor Montgomery behind him in sports betting markets.

The American finished ninth at the Masters in April, which is the best form guide for the PGA Championship.

Theegala might have only one PGA Tour win to his name, which came in a pairs competition in the QBE Shootout with Tom Hoge, but he has all the makings of a solo winner.

We wouldn’t leave him out of our selections and this is the best value market.

1st Round Leader Korean – Si-Woo Kim

Si-Woo Kim is an excellent bet at the 2023 PGA Championship, and he should come out firing in the opening round.

The South Korean finished second behind Jason Day last week at the AT&T Byron Nelson, and players often play well in the first round following a good performance.

If you’re a fan of Golf Prop Betting, you simply cannot afford to overlook our available lines for the Catalunya Championship.

There are only five Koreans in the field, and although Sungjae Im and Tom Kim are quality golfers, Si-Woo Kim has more momentum.

Online gambling markets have him at +300 to beat his countrymen after the first round, which is too good to pass up.

If Kim gets off to a fast start, we recommend betting him with PGA Championship live betting markets. He’s good enough to win the tournament.

To Miss the Cut – Rickie Fowler

There has been some betting support for Rickie Fowler to win, but we think he misses the cut at Oak Hill.

His form has been improving over the last couple of years, but he tends to disappoint when expected to play well.

He has had an incredibly consistent 2023, including numerous top-20 finishes, but playing well in a major is another story.

He has missed the cut in the PGA Championship twice, so we’re prepared to take the +215 for Fowler to miss it again.
