RBC Canadian Open Prediction, Picks and PGA Prop Bets, 6/5: Roll With McIlroy (+425)

RBC Canadian Open golf odds have Rory McIlroy favored to win the PGA Tour tournament this week, and we’re confident of his chances.
Three of my four picks for The Memorial finished in the top five last week, and I’m parlaying profits into McIlroy in Canada.
Top 4 RBC Canadian Open Picks
1. Rory McIlroy (+425)
There is a lot of tension with McIlroy currently. He didn’t go to any media days at the PGA Championship, which is unlike the golfer from Northern Ireland.
He missed The Memorial last week and didn’t tell Jack Nicklaus that he wasn’t attending, so it’s a strange time for McIlroy. However, despite whatever he’s going through, he is a two-time RBC Canadian Open winner, and that counts for plenty.
He won in 2019 and 2022, and there is a reason why golf lines have him at +425. That’s a fair price for one of the hottest golfers in the world, and before the PGA Championship, everything was going smoothly.

2. Corey Conners (+1600)
Corey Conners is a big-time player, and he often plays his best golf against the best fields on the PGA Tour.
The Canadian looks to win his home tournament for the first time, and although he’s a two-time PGA Tour winner with victories at the Valero Texas Open in 2019 and 2023, he is due a win in Canada.
Some of his best performances have come at the majors, including a T8 at the Masters. If you like to bet on golf, he has been money as a top-10 player in majors. The RBC Canadian Open isn’t a major, but it’s an elite field.
Conners offers excellent value at +1600 and he’s the biggest danger to McIlroy.

3. Nick Taylor (+3500)
My golf picks include Nick Taylor, who comes off a great performance at The Memorial when finishing fourth behind Scottie Scheffler.
The Canadian is another home country hope, and players coming off a top performance often play well the following week. He showed good fight to stay in the hunt last week and that will give him confidence.
He’s an underrated player with five PGA Tour wins, including the 2023 RBC Canadian Open and the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii. Being a past winner of the event is a positive, and he’s back to playing his best golf.
Getting +3500 is a wild price, so include him in golf predictions.

4. Max Homa (+6600)
It’s not easy to back Max Homa at this stage of his career, but after making golf news with a solid early showing at the PGA Championship, he’s starting to find his groove.
It wasn’t too long ago when Homa was a staple at the top of the leaderboard. He’s not the same player now, but if his weekend rounds improved, he would be finishing much better. He had a +6 to finish the PGA Championship and a +5 at The Memorial.
Posting an overdue win isn’t beyond Homa, so include him in picks.
