Cameron Smith eyes consecutive wins on the LIV Tour and most of the money has come for the Australian.
Boasting a world-class field, LIV Bangkok tees up this week. Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and the well-backed Joaquin Niemann are among those set to compete.
Golf odds are available for the team and solo competition, which promises 54 holes of action.
Let’s check the latest Golf odds, stats, injury reports, and Golf lines for LIV Bangkok. We’ve plenty of Vegas Golf odds for you to consider.
Money for Smith
Not only is the money flowing into Smith’s bank account, but it’s also flowing with golf betting markets for LIV Bangkok.
Smith is the equal +450 favorite with Johnson, which is the first time Johnson hasn’t been the outright choice to win a LIV tournament.
The Australian picked up around $6 million with his latest victory and he could continue to rake in the money in Thailand, so we’re not betting against him.
Countryman Adam Scott sees the upside of the LIV Tour.
“I think the schedule that they’re proposing is very appealing to probably most golfers, I would think, depending what your goals are in golf, I think the schedule is very appealing so from that side of things I would consider doing that for sure,” Scott said earlier this year.
We think Smith is the best player in the world at the moment, and that claim was reinforced by Scottie Scheffler’s poor effort at the Presidents Cup. Smith has a Players Championship and Open Championship victory on his record, so he is on fire.
The +450 odds for Smith with the sportsbook might seem short for a golf tournament, but he has the class edge, even over Johnson.
- Pick: Cameron Smith +450
Niemann Shortens
We think it’s only a matter of time before Niemann wins on the LIV Tour and he has been well-backed to win this week.
The Chilean is on the third line of betting at +700 and that’s short. However, the 23-year-old is a two-time PGA Tour winner, including the Genesis Invitational in February.
He defeated the likes of Collin Morikawa and Cameron Young to score by two strokes, and his win in The Greenbrier came by six shots, so he’s classy at his best.
Niemann is having the time of his life on the LIV Tour and betting online markets are following him in.
“The best experience I’ve had on a golf course by far,” Niemann said. “I think it needs to change. Particularly as our golf fans become younger, I think we need to do something to make it exciting for them.”
He’s going on our betting tickets for LIV Bangkok and we expect to see Niemann near the top of the leaderboard throughout.
- Pick: Joaquin Niemann +700
Chasing Tringale
We know many bettors followed Cameron Tringale on the PGA Tour without success, but we know he has a win in him.
Beating a run-of-the-mill PGA Tour field is slightly easier than beating this field, but the 54-hole format should work in his favor.
Tringale often starts off well and doesn’t finish it off in the final round. Therefore, the +5500 for him to win is worth taking a look at.
The American is also +4000 to lead after the first round and that’s worth including in golf picks as well.
- Pick: Cameron Tringale +5500
