The Scottish Open is the biggest golf tournament this week and it features the likes of Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and many of the world’s best players.

Scottish Open odds have McIlroy favored to win, and we think he bounces back from a shocking finish to the U.S. Open last month.
Conditions in Scotland are tough, so it will take a good performance to secure the DP World Tour victory.
Some Joy for McIlroy?
McIlroy is going through the ringer, so to speak, but a win at the Scottish Open could solve his problems.
He has had troubles on and off the course, but we hadn’t seen a meltdown from the Northern Irishman quite like at Pinehurst in the final round of the U.S. Open.
McIlroy missed two very short putts on Nos. 16 and 18 to lose the major to Bryson DeChambeau, extending his winless majors streak to 10 years.

However, his best golf often comes in the week before a major tournament, and he has a history of winning many tournaments in Europe.
The 2014 Open Championship winner returns to Scotland with victory in his mind, and the Renaissance Club should play to his strengths.
McIlroy just needs to remain focused for all four rounds, and he can justify his +800 odds, which firmed from an opening +850.
The 35-year-old is still one of the world’s best, and he’s the best player in this tournament.
Dark-horse Bet: Fleetwood Eyes Win
Frustration levels are also high for Tommy Fleetwood, who is often well-backed with our sportsbook.
The Englishman scored a win in Dubai earlier this year, but his form on the PGA Tour hasn’t been as good as expected.
He’s never too far away from a win, but he’s one of the better players to have never won on the PGA Tour.
Returning to Europe could have his game, and there has been solid betting support for the popular player.
Fleetwood is a +2000 chance to win the Scottish Open, and we can get onboard with those odds.
The 33-year-old played well enough when finishing 15th at the Travelers Championship, which followed a T16 finish at the U.S. Open.
He’s too good to leave out of golf picks, so take the odds before they continue to firm.
Doubting Thomas? Not at These Value Odds
We’re not sure what has gone wrong with Justin Thomas, but perhaps going to Scotland could change his fortunes.
The American, who was once at the top of the sport, has fallen off considerably – much like Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler.
We don’t know why that group of players has suddenly struggled, but we’re prepared to give Thomas one more chance as he looks to push for a Ryder Cup spot.
He recently changed his driver in the hopes of finding more consistency.
“I’d say I’d been driving it fine, not driving it great, so I just wanted to, honestly, just test or try some stuff,” Thomas said.
The two-time PGA Championship winner has class on his side, and it won’t take much to find his rhythm.
Getting +4000 odds for Thomas was once unheard of, so we can’t turn down the value. If he misses the cut at the Scottish Open, we’re done with him, but he gets one more chance.
Give Thomas another go at +4000.
