U.S. Open Head-to-Head, 6/12: Bet DeChambeau (+159) to Take Down Scheffler

U.S. Open betting lines are available for head-to-head markets, and there are some juicy matchups available for the tournament at Oakmont Country Club.

Top 4 U. S. Open Head-to-Head Picks

1. Bryson DeChambeau (+159) vs Scheffler

The tournament defending champion is a good bet against world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, especially at +159 odds with U.S Open golf odds.

He won in stunning fashion last year when hitting an epic bunker shot on the 18th hole to down Rory McIlroy, and DeChambeau has enough to make Oakmont not seem as long as it’s playing.

Scheffler has struggled off the tee recently, and although he won the PGA Championship, he arguably didn’t play well on Sunday. The rest of the field played even worse, but DeChambeau is always there to strike.

Take the LIV golfer to beat the world’s best player.

Bet Bryson DeChambeau +159

2. Xander Schauffele (-120) vs McIlroy

Featured in my U.S. Open bets is Xander Schauffele to beat Rory McIlroy, but I am surprised to see Schauffele as the favorite.

McIlroy almost won the 2024 U.S. Open, but his recent form is anything but inspiring, and being forced to change drivers isn’t helping. He played shockingly at the RBC Canadian Open last week, so Schauffele is the best pick.

He’s straight enough to find the fairways at Oakmont, where accuracy off the tee is important. The rough is stupidly thick and I envision McIlroy spending most of the tournament hacking it out.

Bet on Xander Schauffele -120

3. Joaquin Niemann (-115) vs Tommy Fleetwood

We have pretty much given up on Tommy Fleetwood ever winning a PGA Tour tournament, and although he has come close in majors, the more time he takes to win, the more the pressure builds.

Golf news continues to report on how long it’s taking Fleetwood to win, and at some point he might crack.

There is also pressure on Joaquin Niemann to perform in the majors, but after winning yet another LIV tournament last week, I’m backing the in-form player. He played well on Sunday to win LIV Virginia, and he knows how to win tournaments.

My golf betting picks include him to beat Fleetwood, who will be a better pick at the Open Championship later this year.

Bet Joaquin Niemann -115

4. Aaron Rai (+102) vs Maverick McNealy

Aaron Rai is always one of the most underrated players with U.S. Open picks, but I’m not leaving him out.

The British golfer is inside the top 25 in the world after some strong performances in 2025, and although Maverick McNealy is also playing well, Rai is more experienced and better equipped to handle a tough course.

Getting +102 is a generous price from the sportsbook, and Rai has a chance of posting a top 20 at Oakmont this week.

Bet on Aaron Rai +102
