Top 4 Zurich Classic of New Orleans Picks

1. McIlroy/Lowry (+335)

McIlroy hasn’t played since winning the Masters, and the week off should do him a world of good.

Missing the RBC Heritage last week was a smart move from McIlroy, who deserved a week to revel in his first Masters victory. He’s now back to defend his Zurich Classic title with Lowry and I expect them to win.

They won in a playoff last year, and although team competitions can be tough to predict, the golf lines of +325 are generous. McIlroy and Lowry are playing some of their best golf in 2025, so put them clearly on top.

Bet This Pick: McIlroy/Lowry +335

2. Poston/Mitchell (+1600)

One of my best golf prop bets is Poston/Mitchell at +1800. It’s a good price for a team that should combine well, and I have been impressed with the play of JT Poston and Keith Mitchell this year.

Mitchell has been close to winning a couple of tournaments, and although he has fallen short, he could team up with Poston to produce the goods.

They’re not the most household name in the tournament, but getting +1800 is a great price and they should give bettors a good run.

3. Hojgaard/Hojgaard (+2800)

I have big wraps on the Hojgaard brothers, and I expect one of them to win on the PGA Tour in 2025.

Rasmus and Nicolai are proven winners on the DP World Tour, and although yet to win on the PGA Tour, they have been close. They also have the advantage of having played together countless times growing up, so there are no worries about team cohesion.

This could be their time to shine and make a name for themselves in the United States. Therefore, my golf predictions have them going close at +2500, which is another generous price with golf lines.

4. Bhatia/Young (+3300)

Akshay Bhatia and Cameron Young have a good chance of winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Bhatia is one of the best and youngest golfers on the PGA Tour and Young is a former Rookie of the Year.

Young hasn’t won on the tour yet, which is surprising, but with how well Bhatia is playing, they could pair up and go close to winning.

My golf picks have the Bhatia/Young combo playing well at +3300. It’s a fair price for a duo who could kick on with it and win tournaments as solo players.
